Unwanted Information

Mickey sat in his bar with a single shot in his hand. He wasn't in the mood for drinking right now, but he'd just received some very unwanted information. He'd never felt this bad before and it had nothing to do with sickness. It was all about everything that had happened. It had been a year since he'd seen Felix or Kymin and up until this point he had honestly believe that they were both dead since after the attack they'd both disappeared. Mickey wished he could've been kept in the day considering that by not knowing he'd always just continued with his life, but once he knew the truth he'd felt a bit confused and lost. Felix was dead. It felt surreal. There was no way that that silver haired bastard had went and died. The blond had chosen to pretend in front of Kymin like he didn't care, but he'd apologized for the loss. When Kymin was gone Mickey had chosen to go sit at the bar. It was quiet because few people came in nowadays. "Damn...that sucks...." Laying his head down the red eyed male starred at the shot. His rival was gone and the village was in ruins. Everything was so different. "How did this happen?"

It had been a couple of days since Mickey had received the news of Felix's death. Word had spread like wildfire about the loss of the silver haired shinobi and the mood only grew worse in the village. Felix hadn't been a friend to most people in the village, more of any enemy, but he was still a member of the village. Some people had taken it fairly hard, like Christian. In those couple of days Mickey had spent time at the bar, running it as usual. He was hoping that business would pick back up, but there was no guarantee with the way things were going. However, to brighten his day came his beautiful girlfriend Julia. Unfortunately he'd have to break some terrible news to her.

"Hello Mickey," she greeted happily as she wrapped him in a hug. "How've you been love. I know it's hard out there since the attack, but you have to cheer up. You look worse than the last time I spoke to you." Mickey simply shook his head and told her to take a seat. Julia blinked those bright blue eyes and then did as she was told. "What's wrong?"

Mickey sighed. "Felix is gone."

Julia was smart enough to figure it out from there, but she absolutely refused. Tears filled her eyes and for a moment she simply shook her head. "No he's not," she managed to choke out. "He's...he's immortal." Julia was one of the few people that new the truth about Felix, but Mickey didn't know the truth and he simply gave a harsh laugh.

"The guy was strong, but no one lives forever," Mickey spoke.

Julia wasn't going to argue. Instead she just cried. It wasn't fair. No, it wasn't possible. Felix was supposed to be immortal. Immortals didn't die. He was a friend! "W-What about Kymin?"

"He's alive," Mickey said. "He told me about Felix." He slowly went over and held the love of his life in his arms. He never wanted to lose her. Life seemed so short all of a sudden.
