(super anxious.) (yeah let's skip.)

Felix did not mind the silence. Any other day he'd have some issues with it, but right now, this was exactly what he needed. Closing his eyes as he walked he let his memory take over. The day was kind of nice anyway. Felix would only occasionally open his eyes to see ahead. Check the surroundings and such and then and only then did he let his eyes close once more. Felix came to a slow stop as he felt the sun going down and the air becoming cooler with the night. He allowed them to walk a few more hours before stopping completely. "Alright, I don't want to walk into any traps tonight, we're stopping." Felix knew how the ninja around here worked. Especially when you got close to the village. Once you were in their domain it was all over. Felix couldn't see in the dark and he wasn't taking his chances. Kana getting killed wasn't on his agenda and it would be a hassle having some ninja he barely knew taking her place.

(oh and by the way. I just remembered something. Kana is slick. :] She knew what she was doing when she lifted her shirt, she was just waiting for Felix to look back and see. *snickers*)

(Lmfao! No!!! She was not doing what you think she was doing!! Lmao!)

As it got later, and the air started getting cooler, Kana pulled a jacket (imagine a black hoodie with blue and gray stripes) out of her bag and put it on. The jacket wasn't big, but then again, neither was her bag. She'd created a rather handy jutsu for things like this that allowed her bag to be small, but to fit an almost infinite amount of things in it. Yes, quite handy indeed.

When Felix stopped and said they were stopping for the night because he didn't want to get caught in any traps, Kana nodded. "Okay." She looked around. This seemed good a place as any. "How're we doing watch? Two hours at a time?" she asked. Being a ninja, you atuomatically knew that you had to do watching shifts if you were going to stay the night outdoors. One of the things that Felix had taught her and her squad. For Kana, asking this question came as much a first nature as drawing a kunai against an enemy. She remembered also, they should probably build a fire. It got really cold at night this time of year.

(uh huh, sure.)

"Yeah, and you're on first watch." Felix moved off a bit farther than should have been allowed and found a soft spot on the dusty earth. If a fight broke out tonight it would mean a more complicated trip. The more fights they got into along the way, the less strength they would have when it came to the mission. Felix wasn't looking forward to that He turned on his side and closed his eyes.

Kana nodded when he said she was on first watch. "Kay." When he started off, Kana trusted him to not go too far and found a place to sit. She took her bookbag off and set it next to her as she pulled out her notebook and a small booklight before beginning to work on her sketches. It wasn't hard to stay awake for now, since it was still...well, no, it wasn't early, but even so, Kana didn't have much trouble staying awake until it was Felix's turn to watch.

Felix had fallen into a dreamless sleep. It was normal of course. He'd only dreamed once or twice and it was not pleasant. He didn't envy those who could dream. Having a built in clock, he was aware that the two hours were up and got up to start his watch. Making his way back to Kana he gave her the one over and then spoke. "Go to bed." Rude. Blunt. Whatever you wanted to call it, he made sure to let her know they were still not on good terms.

Kana worked on her sketches for the two hours that she had to keep watch, looking up at a sound out of the ordinary every now and then. Of course, nothing actually happened. Many of the sounds ended up being a wild animal that was running through the area. She knew, because she'd gone and checked. She looked up when she heard Felix move, nodded when he told her to go to bed. She would say nothing about his tone. She knew that things would be bad between them, that it would stay that way no matter what she did. So, she just accepted it. Kana didn't bother getting up from her spot, but put her book away, as well as the pencil she'd been using. Using her bag as a makeshift pillow, Kana laid on her side, facing away from Felix. She felt bad about this whole mess. And it would surely show up in her dreams. Closing her eyes, the brown haired jonin was asleep after only a few minutes.

Felix sat down and pulled off his jacket, letting it drop to the ground. He looked at the crumpled white leather. He glanced at Kana in the darkness and then looked ahead, listening for the sound of enemies. He expected for someone to come out of the darkness, but he knew better. He crossed his arms behind his head and laid back. Crossing one leg over the other. "Humans, so fragile." He gave a grin. "Some are almost impenetrable. " Felix's grin turned into a smirk. "I am one hell of a teacher."

Kana's dreams weren't as bad as she thought they'd end up being. In fact, they were just scattered image fragments mostly. None of them had anything to do with Felix. They had a lot to do with her Blackbird jutsu. After two hours passed, Kana blinked awake. She had an internal clock just like Felix. Especially after one time she'd over slept and thought that her squad had forgotten her in a far away village when she was younger. Never again. Kana slowly pushed herself up and stretched, looking over to Felix. "Get some sleep," she said lightly. It wasn't rude or blunt like he'd been, but it wasn't friendly either.

Felix had stayed in the same spot, listening. He had wanted some idiot to come attack them, but nothing happened. When Kana awoke he gave her the slightest nod. So, was she trying to ease up on her attitude? It hadn't been friendly, but the rudeness had gone. Felix held in his sigh. He was going to forgive her. Not so that she'd know it though. That would be his knowledge only. "There were a few ninja passing through, I don't think they noticed us, and if they did, they aren't hostel." It was casual conversation and a friendly warning. Not to save his own hide, but to protect hers.

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

Post by The Merciful Overlord Wed Nov 16, 2011 11:49 pm

Kana pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as he nodded. It was a small nod, but she'd noticed it. She nodded in return at his warning. "Alright. I'll keep an eye out," she said. Something felt odd. The hostility between the two of them had vanished. That was a good thing though, maybe. She could live without the hostility.

Kana sat up and looked around, leaning back against a tree. She was still a bit tired, but when it came to watches, you either dealt with it or died. And Kana...well, she'd deal with it. Once they got to the Rock Village and all settled in after meeting with the superiors, she was gonna take a nice long nap. And for a ninja, a long nap amounted to about five hours. She could function on that. Hell, if she had to, she could function on one hour of sleep for about two days without screwing up too badly. But that was in dire circumstances. Something she hadn't had to face in a long time.

Kana spent much of her watch time this time around just sitting there and thinking. What would she do? She didn't want this hostility between the two of them, even though it seemed that it was disappearing. Knowing how she was, when she felt that things were getting too comfortable between them, she'd probably say something to put that hostility right back into place. Her eyes stared down at the ground sadly. Felix was probably the only person she'd had this much inner turmoil over pushing away. Cuz aside from her parents, he was probably the only one she truly cared about. Damn her womanly tendancies to be emotional over every damn thing!

About an hour into her watch, Kana sighed softly. "Felix...for what little it's worth...I'm sorry..." she said sadly. She knew he was asleep and couldn't hear her. Or at least, she hoped he was. She hadn't said it so that he would hear her, no, that hadn't been the intended purpose at all. She was trying to alleviate some of the guilt she was feeling over this. Was being around her after everything she said hurting him? Or was he just pissed off at her? If it was the second, then she could deal with that. She could deal with him being pissed off. Kana almost felt herself crying, in fact, tears had actually started in her eyes. When she realized it, she quickly blinked them away. She hated getting depressed around other people, even if said other people were asleep. She leaned her head back against the tree and looked up at the night sky after she'd said that. The sky was clear, the stars visible, and the moon full. It should have been a nice night, yet here she was sitting, sulking over her poor choice on how to live her life.

(nice post)

Dreamless sleep washed over the silver haired ninja once more. He hadn't even moved when he'd awoken because he'd gotten up a tad bit early. He'd let her have her full watch, but then something happened. She apologized. In an indirect sort of way, but she'd apologized all the same. Felix smirked. So the little brat could feel some guilt. So she wasn't actually feeling this way. Felix was beginning to wonder if he should train his next set of students differently, or if she should take on another set at all. The world didn't need a bunch of hims running around. Felix waited until the complete two hours were up to actually move. He got up and looked around. Was four hours of sleep a piece good enough? The moon was still pretty high but the light was bright. Risky. "Get some sleep." He wasn't going to be reckless this time.

(Thanks)

Yeah, she hadn't been worried about him hearing her. If he had heard her...well, she didn't know what she'd do. It would ruin everything. When he awoke and looked around, she took one glance around as well. "Those ninja that passed through before didn't come back this way. There hasn't been much movement," she told him. To a ninja, usually that foretold the calm before the storm, but on rare occasions it said that all was well. Though she was taught never to assume the latter, Kana figured that tonight would be peaceful. She blinked at the tone of his voice. It was...nicer, than before. She almost started internally panicking. What if he had heard her?? Instead of letting her mild panic show on her face, she nodded. "Kay..." After this watch was up, chances are they'd be setting off. Eight hours was too long to be in one spot. Laying down, Kana closed her eyes, but found that she couldn't get to sleep right away. Why did her captain have to pair her up with him for this mission??

Post by The Godfather Thu Nov 17, 2011 8:54 pm

Felix sat down and focused his attention in the opposite direction. He wondered just how much Izua had known about the disagreement between him and Kana. It was clear Kana had not known he'd be her partner, and vice versa for that matter. The silver haired jonin grinned. "Surprises, Surprised, surprises. They never fail." He was obviously amused by this. Without another thought he got up and started to walk around. Not letting his guard down and not leaving the perimeter, which happened to be as long as he could see Kana everything was good. Pulling out a kunai he lightly tossed it in the air every few seconds. He was walking in a fairly perfect circle. "Back to where it all begin. The Rock Village. Where my best friends died. Where Kyla cursed me. And yet, I manage to call it home." Felix smirked. One day he would go home. He walked a few more circles before settling down and keeping watch in silence. They would probably be moving after this.

After the girl finally fell asleep, Kana slept soundly for the two hours. Again, her dreams had been scrambled images. When she woke up, she sat up, stretched lightly and looked around, spotting Felix sitting in the same spot as before. Did he sit there the whole time? Hm. Kana tightened her ponytail a bit and looked at him. "Do you need more sleep, or do you want to head off?" she asked. In the distance, the skyline was getting a bit lighter. Only a bit. In about an hour the sun would be rising. She hadn't kept track of the time, but this made her wonder what time last night they'd stopped at.

"I'm good." He stood up and allowed himself a second to stretch one good time. He took a moment to check his surroundings. Okay, they had a while of walking, but if they moved quickly, they could get there in less time than normal. He was in no rush but the mission was currently on hold and that meant the longer they took....He let the thought trail off. Screw it, they had to move.

Felix had spent majority of the time in silence until about two hours before their arrival. He'd chosen this time because one, they needed to get on good terms for this mission. And two, he wanted to try and break her out of this pushing people away thing before it was too late. "Kana, how long are you going to keep this up?"

Kana nodded when he said that he was good. She stood up and stretched her arms above her head before starting off with Felix.

She didn't mind the silence the whole time. Since she'd 'apologized' to him, she felt a bit better. It sort of let her know that at least she wasn't really mad at him for...hell, for nothing at all really. It had reminded her that she was still acting. When he spoke, she looked at him. "Keep what up?" she asked. She knew what he was talking about. He said that he'd known about her charade, so obviously he knew what he was talking about. But she wasn't giving up the act yet.

Felix gave her a mild look as she asked him what. She knew damn well what he was talking about. Keeping his cool as he did in most situations he shook his head lightly. "I mean you suddenly pushing me away." He said. "You've got no one. First you won't allow anyone in and now everyone who was in is being pushed away without what seems not even a second thought." He shook his head. "I thought I knew my students but you're proving me wrong."

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

Post by The Merciful Overlord Thu Nov 17, 2011 9:43 pm

Kana felt a wave a guilt wash over her as he mentioned her suddenly pushing him away. She swallowed lightly and looked back in front of her as she walked, keeping her cool. For the moment. Living the way she had been had caused her to have a rather short temper in certain situations. She just hoped that he wouldn't end up getting her mad. She tended to be irrational when she was mad.

She looked down and put her hands in her pockets as he said that she had no one. That much was true. She had to twist this. Somehow, she had to make up a lie that seemed rational enough to be believeable. One that Felix would believe. He wasn't a fool, he wouldn't believe just any lie. But then...hell, why should she lie to him? "I don't need people getting hurt because of me, plain and simple." That was true. But it wasn't the whole truth. Would she tell him the whole truth? Maybe. But she didn't want to. She waved her hand before he could say anything, then continued on with "Don't go and tell me you can take care of yourself, that's not the kind of hurt I'm talking about." She hoped he understood. She was about to say something harsh, but forced herself not to. She was so conflicted right now it wasn't even funny. And that inner turmoil was starting to make her irritated. Very irritated.

Post by The Godfather Thu Nov 17, 2011 10:18 pm

Felix balled his fist up into a very tight ball. "I know what you were saying." He informed her. Any other person would have sounded edgy, he was still in the state of calmness. "The last person who'd told me those words ended up hurting me more than they realized. They ended up badly wounded and death had came knocking on their doorstep." Why had he told her that? "Have you ever considered that maybe those who care are actually human. It's hard to stay mad at someone for too long. Time is very short. Pushing everyone away isn't going to get you fair. I would know. Living the life I lived before I met....that certain someone was very blank. Lifeless. I had lost all qualities of being human. I was nothing more than a machine." A pause. "I don't want to see you turn into a machine."

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

Post by The Merciful Overlord Fri Nov 18, 2011 1:42 am

(Omg, this is like...the perfect set up here. Thank you so much.)

Kana kept her hands in her pockets as she walked, but out of the corner of her eye saw his fist ball. Was he about to hit her? Kana mentally prepared herself for the impact, just in case. She wouldn't put it past him. But then again, it seemed as if he was trying to fix things with her. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? She should've been the one trying to fix things with him. Did that mean he cared about her? The thought struck her hard. It was exactly the opposite of what she'd been trying to do.

When I get back to the Crested, the first thing I'm going to do is turn in my mission report to my captain. The second thing I'm going to do is kill him, she thought angrily. She hated her captain right now. Just how much did he know about what happened between her and Felix? She hadn't told him anything more than that she didn't want to be put on missions with him. Maybe he knew Felix used to be her sensei, and that she had once been relatively close to him. Maybe he cared. Kana internally winced. God dammit! Even through all she was doing, were people still managing to find a way to care about her?!?!

These thoughts were only fueling her evergrowing anger. Felix wasn't helping. "Obviously that person couldn't defend themselves like I can," she said when he told her the last person who'd told him that had ended up badly wounded. Kana didn't realize the relevance of what she'd said though. She hadn't put it together that the person was going to be the mother of his children. But then again, she hadn't enough information to make such an assumption. She could take care of herself in terms of fighting. She wasn't some random ninja from their village, she was the student of Felix Kuriyama, the best damn ninja in their village aside from the Kage.

Kana fell silent as he asked if she'd considered that those who care are actually human. Her eyes saddened a bit. Yeah, that was right...no matter how hard you try, if you used to care about someone, it's not easy to make that caring go away. Humans were just like that. Her anger returned almost full force at his last statement though. Her gaze turned to him, her brown eyes blazing. "Listen, I'm not like you, okay? I'm not gonna turn into some machine. All I'm doing is living my life trying not to be selfish, okay?" At least, that was the way she saw it. Sure, people could be hurt in other ways, but the death of a loved one took a huge toll on one's heart. It was the ultimate hurt. Kana didn't want people being hurt like that over her death. After all, she was a ninja. Who knew when she would die?

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

Post by The Godfather Sat Nov 19, 2011 2:18 am

(She just said the wrong thing. Now you will have a reason to make her mad.)

She'd hit a soft spot that Felix didn't even know he had. The ninja was close to stopping, but kept moving with great effort. The memory of not being able to protect Serenity from the creatures in the forest left him even more wounded. She'd died in his arms and he'd poured his heart out because he didn't know she would be coming back. Up until that moment he had taken her for granite. Too many times had he done her wrong and even now he'd done her wrong. He'd broken the promises he'd made that way. He was too imperfect. He didn't want to be perfect either, but his flaws were too much for him to bear. He glanced at her as she continued to speak on how she was no machine and how she was choosing to live her without being selfish. "So you're telling me that pushing everyone away is not being selfish?" He asked. "Because you want everyone to keep from being hurt?" Felix looked directly at her. "Has it ever occurred to you in that tiny little brain of yours that maybe you should stop taking things so lightly. You're mortal Kana. A human being who will one day die. Your life is too short to waste it on not being selfish." He shook his head. "I have seen hundreds of ninja die wishing they could have used their time differently. Not spending enough time with family and friends, spending too much time in the field, not getting out enough, not living like one should live. And for what, so when they're on their death bed they can apologize for all the crap they failed to do? Apologies are nothing if you can't fix them." He gave a harsh laugh. "But I guess you're too prideful to apologize. Kana Kianashi, the Proud Infamous Dark Illusion dies apologizing to all those she pushed away, but the apology falls short for it proves nothing because she is dead." Felix turned his gaze away from her. "How many people do you think will be hurt then?" He asked. "Once you're gone, you're gone, forever. There's no such thing as second chances."

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

Post by The Merciful Overlord Sat Nov 19, 2011 4:06 am

(Dammit. I had to modify the post a lot more than I thought I'd have to.)(Nice post btw.)

Kana finally stopped walking. She figured that at the rate this conversation was going, he might've been about to stop too. Her hand balled into a fist. He was taking this too far. Much too far. Had he just said that she should start being selfish? No second chances was true, but then again, Kana didn't plan on apologizing on her death bed like everyone else. She'd die in silence. Nothing kind would be said to those around her. Nothing would be said at all.

By the time he'd finished talking, Kana's gaze was on him, her brown eyes ablaze. "You want me to start being selfish? You know what, fine, fine then," she said, the anger still in her voice. And before her mind could comprehend what her body was doing, her hand had grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him into a kiss. It lasted several seconds before she pulled away, let his shirt go, and gave him a small push, cocking her head in a way that said 'there, happy now?' She turned around and started walking in the direction that they'd been going before, her cheeks suddenly seering hot with the knowledge of what she'd just done. She'd kissed him and walked away. She'd kissed him and walked away. She'd....WHAT?! What the hell had she gone and done that for!? How idiotic could she get!! Her arms crossed as she walked, a mental war started inside Kana's head. How could she have done something so stupid! What the hell was he gonna say??? Not that she didn't like it or anything, but...what the hell was she thinking, she should not have liked that!!! He used to be her sensei for god's sake!!! Because her back was turned to him as she walked, it would still look to Felix like she was pissed off, but her face was nothing short of pure embarrassment. Her gaze was on the ground and she was so absorbed in her mental war that had something come into her path, she would've ran smack into it.

(Just for your entertainment:)

Why'd I kiss him, why did I do something so stupid!! He has a girlfriend and a kid back in the Crested! Well, it's not like that one kiss is gonna ruin his relationship... That shouldn't matter, are you TRYING to be a homewrecker? Hey, he asked for it! He wanted me to be selfish, so he brought it upon himself! He told you to be selfish, not to kiss him! You could've done ANYTHING, punched him, kicked him, told him off, something agressive rather than something...something romantic! You're trying to drive him OFF, remember??? You know what, this is probably gonna drive him off anyways, besides, he probably doesn't date mortals. Oh, so now you're looking to date him? Jeez, you really are a homewrecker, aren't you!! Hey, ther was a reason he left for a transfer mission before his kid was born, they probably just needed time away from each other to figure things out. He was your sensei for goodness sake!! Well...he's not now. And it's not like he's physically really older than me! Oh, so that justifies what you did? No, but why CAN'T I be selfish for once? I mean really, all I do is worry about other people, this might be the one year in my life I actually get to do something worth while, his girlfriend will always be there, she's immortal! Not like I'm trying to steal him away or anything. UGH, LISTEN TO YOURSELF!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU KANA KIANASHI!??!

(Two things: 1. Reaction. Cbox. 2. You can make her run into whatever the hell you like, or nothing at all. That last statement was there in case Felix decided to move in front of her, or an enemy ninja came in front of her, or if you wanted to be funny, a tree. Very Happy)

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

(nice post yourself.)(WAAAAHHHH! SHE DID WAHHHHHHT? HOLY ISHBAL! WOAH! SHE....SHE KISSED HIM! HOMEWRECKER! YEAH, THAT'S WHAT SHE IS! OMFG! KANA!)

Felix was not expecting this in the least. When she'd grabbed him, he thought she was going to hit him, but instead she kissed him. Felix's heart skipped a beat from shock and then it sped up. The immortal was more than surprised. He couldn't even rip himself away because it had been so sudden. So, God he couldn't even explain what that rush of feeling was. When she let him go he wasn't sure he was breathing. Felix backed away once she pushed him, it was all he could do. He was speechless. He made no attempt to go after her, nor had he made an attempt to wipe the remainder of the kiss from his mouth. Had Kana really just kissed him?

Felix's heart seemed to twist with the thought. Had Kana's actions been a result of her anger, or had she meant to do that all along. Again that feeling him it, but it was washed over by guilt. Serenity. He had to keep her in mind. Felix's mind was spinning. He shook his head and started to walk. It felt like he was moving through molasses. What had just happened? What had he felt? What has she felt? Felix couldn't fight this strange attraction. But God he had to preserve the trust that him and Serenity needed to keep together. They were bound by nothing but an unborn child, but all the same, he was with her. It may not have been official, but still.

Guilt was weighing heavy on him. Why had Kana done that? Why would she kiss him knowing that he had a kid. When he said to be selfish, he meant go find someone who was NOT him. He had been her sensei! What had she been thinking! Felix had kept his gaze on the ground since it happened, but now he had to look up. He wasn't sure if Kana had noticed, but she was walking directly towards a tree. He went to warn her, but for some odd reason, he couldn't voice her name.

(I had to add the tree. The moment was so guilt filled.)

Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma - Page 2 Empty Re: Transfer Mission: The Blackbird's Dilemma

(I do feel bad for Felix though. He would probably be with Kana for a bit if it weren't for Ser. XD) (And ha, the tree.)

Kana kept her arms crossed, and for the first time since she'd become a ninja, all of her defenses were down. She was paying absolutely no attention to her surroundings as her face burned with blush and her mental war continued. So it was only fair that something come along to teach her not to let her guard down, right? But for goodness sake, Kana wished it had been a ninja rather than an inanimate object. She ran smack into the tree and fell backwards. This definitely didn't help with the embarrassment she was feeling. And of course, there had been a lot of anger mixed in with that embarrassment. Anger at herself mostly. She was never really angry at the world around her, but even so...

After sitting there for a moment and regaining her senses, Kana gave an irritated sigh and got up. She gave the tree a small kick, shoved her hands in her pockets, and started walking again. Her first instinct was to punch the goddamned thing as hard as she could. But if she'd done that, her hand would've likely taken out half the tree and caused it to fall. Now Kana was no tree hugger, but she wasn't gonna destroy that tree because animals lived in it. It was the home of other creatures. So kicking it like that had made her look like a small child who was throwing a temper tantrum. And hell, her demeanor now made her look like that.

She wasn't going to apologize for what she'd done because he'd asked for it. But at the same time, she was starting to feel majorly guilty about it. He had a girl back home. Whether they were 'taking a break' or not didn't matter. She couldn't do that to him... And all over, she decided to start pushng him away again. Her anger started fading, and her chest started aching with the effort of not crying. Her face was still red with embarrassment, but the expression on it wasn't a happy one.

For the moment, Kana was ignoring Felix's presence. She couldn't look at him. Didn't want to know what he was thinking. Didn't want to know what he was thinking of her. And definitely, definitely, didn't want him asking why she'd done that. She didn't know. Before that moment, she'd never felt that she was attracted to him. At least not consciously. But now...god, her whole world had just been twisted into a nightmare!! She was mortal, he was not, and he had an immortal girl waiting for him back in the Crested! Kana was starting to believe that maybe she wasn't befriending people, not to keep them from getting hurt, but to keep herself from getting hurt. Maybe she'd just been finding a justifiable reason without it seeming selfish. Again anger welled up inside her, but there was still sadness there. She wanted to punch something. Anything. As hard as she could, as many times as she could before it broke, whatever it was. She tried counting the emotions she was feeling right then. Sadness, anger, guilt, embarrassment. It seemed that anger would be one emotion that would never leave her. Her gaze stayed down as she walked on, but this time she hadn't blocked out her surroundings. Damn tree....

(Lol, the moment is still guilt filled.)

(aww, should have been a ninja.) (sadly it is true)

Felix was too far way to walk past her after she hit the tree and fell. She looked ridiculous getting up and kicking the tree because she had run into it. Felix had to hold back a laugh of amusement at her actions. They were childish and....Oh no, he couldn't go there. Why had Kana done this to him? Now he was thinking thoughts he'd never let cross his mind. Felix felt his heart twist once more to the point were he was believing the pain was actually physical and not just pulled from emotions that he was straining himself to control. By the time Kana had gotten back up Felix had covered half the distance. His blue eyes focused intently on the ground. He had to live a year thinking Kana had some kind of attraction to him. In the same facility. What if he slipped up? Felix felt sick. He needed a cold shower. No, what he wanted to do was disappear.
