First Day at Roulette High Empty First Day at Roulette High

Ginjo stood next to each other as the children started to flow into the building, heading for the auditorium, where he would give a brief speech of welcome and the let Ellie Ohana take over and give her painstakingly rehearsed speech. She'd been voted Class President at the end of last year. He was sure that she would do well. Once the grounds were clear, he made his way downstairs and into the auditorium where Gabe was making all the children sit by year and Ellie was going over last minute notes. Ginjo cleared his throat. "Ladies and Gentlemen, if you could settle down," he said into the microphone. The room fell silent and he began to speak. "I am Principal Ginjo Yamaki, and I would like to welcome you all  to Roulette High Boarding School. As you all know, we are a very prestigious school." He gave a small pause. "I will be handing the floor over to the Class President, but before that, I shall go remind you of a few key rules. Dress code will be enforced and I expect for you all to be in uniform each and every day, minus the weekends unless we have an event. Curfew will be began at ten pm sharp, and will be enforced until seven am the next day. There will be no smoking, alcohol, drugs, weapons, or pets allowed on the campus grounds. I expect you all to be at class on time and any stragglers will be subject to detention. Girls do not enter the boys dormitories and boys do not enter the girls dormitories after dinner. I believe that is, may you all have a good year. Ms. Ohana."

Ellie bounced her way up onto the stage, her uniform was perfect and her blue eyes shinned. "Hello and welcome," she began. "I am Ellie Ohana, Class President. To begin, I would like to say that this will be a great year," she spoke. "We have a lot planned for this year and with your help, all events will be successful. To the Freshmen Class, welcome to Roulette High, to the Sophomore and Junior Classes, welcome back, and to the Senior Class, you're at the final stretch. Let us all make this a wonderful year for Roulette High." She gave her award winning smile. "Principal Ginjo has gone over the key rules, but I will remind you all that reading your Roulette High Guidebook will help you succeed this semester. Breakfast starts at eight am, classes begin at nine, lunch at noon, the last classes end at four, and dinner begins promptly at six and lasts until seven." She had said it mostly for the freshmen. "I'm sure you've all picked up your packets from the front office and will find you schedules for the year as well as your room key and dormitory number. Club sign ups will began next week and it is advised that everyone take part in at least one activity." She gave another smile. "I look forward to working with you all this year. Thank you." She stepped down and took her seat amongst a few friends of hers.

Ginjo took the stand again. "Alright, that concludes this assembly. The rest of the day is yours. Remember to follow the rules, and there shall be no consequences. Enjoy the rest of your day."

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

There was a bit of murmuring among the students when the Class President stepped down the from the stand, one of them coming from a freshman who was about two years too old for his grade level. "Ugh...what a drag. Why'd I have to get sent to this dump," he muttered. This particular student had brown hair that was just above his shoulders and his eyes were an unnaturally bright brown color, almost to the point of being orange. "Jasper gets to go to a public school, so why don't I...and this uniform is so tacky," he complained, looking down at the uniform he was wearing, which wasn't at all worn the way it properly should have been. This particular male was named Boreas Juuichi, and he'd ended up failing two grade levels before his parents decided to send him to a boarding school so he'd clean up his act. Of course, his brother Jasper got a free pass, since the guy hadn't failed a grade yet. At all. Not even a single class. Boreas huffed and got up from his seat once they were dismissed. Might as well go check out his room.

A red haired male with dark brown eyes seemed to have the same idea, and had left the auditorium the moment the principal had announced them dismissed, without a word to anyone around him. He was a freshman and unusually tall for his age, matching the seventeen year old Boreas in his height at the age of fourteen.

Nagi Oyashi sat back in his seat, casually fixing his tie at the mention of their uniforms having to be perfect. He glanced around the room. There weren't as many girls here as he'd hoped there'd be. He was one of the freshmen of the room, and to be honest, the only 'club' he was interested in signing up for was a sport. Didn't really matter which, since he was good at mostly all of them. But soccer sounded cool. He'd only join if the team seemed worth his time though. He wasn't particularly excited to be at this school, but he'd make the best out of whatever came his way. He stood up and looked to his two friends, whom he'd known even before coming to this boarding school. "Wanna go check out the rooms?" he asked Chris and Nick casually.

Haven Ryusaki was sitting nervously by himself near the back. When the assembly was over he pulled out his packet and looked at his class schedule before he found his room key. He guessed the best thing to do would be to follow the other students to the dorms. He was considering joining a club to. He supposed that would make his parents happy. The orange haired male with his green eyes got up and filed out of the room. He hoped his roommates were nice and that this would be an easy year. If everyone was as preppy as the class president, he supposed he'd be okay.

DK was sitting in his seat, legs crossed. His light purple hair was near, and his purple eyes were focused. He looked up when he heard someone grumble next to him. "You look awfully old to be in a Freshman uniform," the boy stated blatantly. "Dorian Knight," he said as he held out his hand. "But everyone calls me DK." He gave the guy a friendly smile. He followed the guy as he started out of the auditorium. DK was eleven, and had skipped quite a few grades, so he was noticeably smaller than the other boys, and even some of the girls.

Chris Hayachi stared up at the ceiling as the blue haired chick spoke. She was kind of cute, but he wasn't into older women. He smirked. "No booze, no cigs, no sex, they might as well kill us now," he chuckled. He looked to Nagi when the guy asked if him and his cousin would like to check out the dorms. "Mmmhm, I hope we're rooming together." Chris looked to Nick who was grabbing his bags. He swore the guy brought too much stuff, but hey, it wasn't him carrying around all that luggage. "I wonder if they have crappy food?"

Ivaline Ugaki's headphones were around her neck, but the music was loud enough for her to hear it. The red haired girl with different eye colors seemed to be a million miles away. She popped a bubble with her gum and then hopped up from her seat. She was guessing the assembly was over, which meant it was time to go find out who she'd be stuck with for the rest of the year. Hopefully someone with rad taste and maybe a cute older brother that was into the same hardcore music as she. She could already tell this place was going to be lots of fun, minus the weird Class Prez chick and their boring principle. Her eyes caught sight of a blond with many piercings. He was eye candy for sure. She wondered what year he was.

Boreas looked down at the kid next to him who had started talking to him. "And you're awfully young to be making smart ass comments," he sneered. "Boreas," he said casually, ignoring the kid's outstretched hand and looking around as he walked. There was no way this kid was gonna start following him around, right? What the hell was a pipsqueak like him doing in a school like this anyways? Boreas was sure this place was mostly for delinquent kids. Had to be. This place looked like hell on earth.

Nagi chuckled at Chris's comment. It was true. How the hell were they gonna survive four years here? He supposed the first day should be spent scoping out the school's secrets. Places they could hide or stash shit that wouldn't be found. "Yeah, me too. I don't want to have to room with some random weird ass kid. If they have crappy food, we'll find a way to go out for dinner. Can't do much about breakfast though," he said with a small frown. The main reason his parents had sent him to this school instead of a public school was his crappy attitude and extreme lack of discipline. Oh, and his more recent involvement in a gang led by a guy that Nagi personally looked up to.

Clarissa Izumito, a girl with short black hair and stunningly beautiful hazel eyes, unlike the freshmen of the school, and...well, most of the other students, decided to make her way to the library. She was sure there were bound to be some new books this semester. Not that she'd read all the books in the library anyways, since the place had about a billion trillion books. As she passed through the halls, she responded to some hellos and waves with small smiles and quiet hellos of her own. Since she had a bunch of books in her hands, she couldn't really return their waves.

A junior with fiery red hair pulled back in a wavy ponytail passed by the little freshman with headphones, ignoring her existence completely and going straight over to the blond she'd been looking at. "Hey Mickey," she greeted in a sultry voice. "How was your summer?" Sorca Mirrenen was probably without a doubt one of the most flirtatious students that attended Roulette High, tied only with the black haired male known as Kymin Onihana. It was no secret either, that many of the boys of sophomore year and above had either slept with her already or were actively trying to. There was little wonder why, considering how well endowed and 'matured' the red haired girl was, and the fact that she didn't mind showing it off whenever she didn't have to wear a uniform.

Ivaline's eyes narrowed. "Harlot," she said with a huff. She could have said something much worse, but instead she flipped her hair over her shoulder and walked away. She didn't need to be jealous of that creature. Besides, she needed to go find her room before someone took the best bed. She would not have that!

Uriyuu Serizawa was sitting a few seats back from Clarissa Izumito. Uriyuu was tall, with red eyes and hair. His uniform was less than acceptable and he'd added a few adjustments to it, and despite the rules about smoking, he had a pack resting ever so visibly in his shirt pocket. When the assembly ended, he happily flicked off the Principal who probably hadn't seen, and headed out the door, trailing a bit behind Clarissa. He saw she had a hand full of books and she was probably going to the library. He easily slipped around a few students, well...maybe he shoved a few out of the way, but all the same he made it to the library door in time to open it for her, making it seem like he was going in first, but stopping to be a gentleman. "Lot of books you've got there."

Mickey Mutsu was talking with a couple of guys, catching up about the summer and what they would do for the rest of the year. He looked at Sorca. he'd not missed the freshy who had been looking him over. She was kind of cute, had good taste in style, but Sorca caught his eye. He could pull her aside and show her how well his summer had gone, but as it was, too many eyes were watching. "Plain, not much happened. And yours?"

DK stopped smiling when the guy sneered at him. "I skipped a couple of grades. I didn't make a smart butt comment," he told the other guy. "Don't you have a last name?" He glanced at a couple of kids who were talking about rooming with weird kids. He heard the blue haired one mumble something about this place not being too bad, only for the brown haired male with midnight blue eyes give a dramatic sigh. "Live a little Nick. This place will be our misery for the next few months of out lives. Let's make it a bit more home-like." DK immediately decided they were trouble makers.

Felix Kuriyama got up and stretched. He supposed he could go to his room and unpack and then figure out the rest of his day. All the little Freshman were scrambling around like lost puppies and it made him smirk ever so lightly. He remembered his first year here, and now it felt like ages ago. He grabbed his bags and started towards the door.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Sorca gave a half frown and a small shrug when Mickey asked how her summer had been. "Hm. My summer was very lonely," she said with a small, obviously fake sigh. It became more apparent the sigh was fake when she cast the blonde a flirty smile. So she liked playing with her eye candy a bit, so what? Not like he was gonna stay just 'eye candy' for long anyways. The 'look but don't touch' rule didn't apply to this red haired beauty.

"Thank you," Clarissa said quietly, blinking when she saw who it was holding the door for her. She gave him a smile. "Oh, hello Uriyuu. Yeah, the librarian let me borrow them over the summer," she said, sounding almost embarrassed by the fact that she was clearly a bookworm. She didn't really know Uriyuu that well, to be honest. During their freshmen year they'd been paired up for an assignment, but he hadn't spoken much to her. Even after that they hadn't really talked, and she would only run into him on random occasions, like now. The only thing she really knew about him, aside from his name, was that he hung out in the library almost as often as she did.

"I see, so you're some kid genius or something." Boreas stopped walking and looked at the purple haired kid when he'd said he hadn't made a smart "butt" comment. "Did you just- did you really- know what, nevermind, I don't care," he huffed, rolling his eyes and starting on his way again. What a weird kid. "Yeah I have a last name, I just don't care to give it."

A red haired male and a teal haired male were already in the sophomore dormitory when Felix arrived. One he would recognize as Recha Babo, the other he probably wouldn't recognize until the guy turned around. Kim Babo, who usually wore glasses and had his hair some sort of messy, had his teal hair slicked back and instead of wearing glasses, wore contacts. And unlike usual, he didn't have his nails painted black. He hadn't done this last year, but over the summer him and Recha had come up with a plan. Kim was to dress and act as straight as he possibly could for the first few days of school, only to confuse the hell out of any poor freshman girls who developed a crush on him during those few days. Already he'd gotten a few glances and giggles from some girls. Even Recha had to admit that his brother cleaned up very nicely once he actually tried. For once, Kim's uniform was actually pristine. The two of them had come in earlier that day before the announcements were being made in order to lay claim to their beds. Recha had the bed in the furthest corner of the room, and Kim had the one right next to it. Recha was big on personal space, so he didn't like others close to him, with Kim being one of the few exceptions. The teal haired male turned around once he heard someone else come in and smiled. "Hey Felix. What're the odds we'd be in the same dorm again?" he commented with a small chuckle.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Wed Sep 02, 2015 9:36 am

Xen Reizei sat alone and no one cared to sit near him. He rarely talked and whenever in class he seemed to pay attention, but never answered a question. There were a lot of rumors about him, most not so good. Most ranged from him not knowing the language since he looked like he had come from the middle east, or that he'd killed someone or his parents because no one had ever seen them. No one dared to ask though. The black haired male sat through the assembly without making moving a muscle until the end. He left his seat, bags in tow and started for the dorms, several people stepped aside as if he carried some sort of disease. Xen didn't seem to take note or notice that Mickey, who was telling Sorca that they could fix the lost time of boredom of summer after dinner. The blond male raised a brow. "I bet he killed someone," he murmured. "Like legit killed them and played like he didn't know a thing." He huffed. "Tch."

Uriyuu smirked. "You like books, huh." Uriyuu couldn't stand them. He hated coming here, but he had his eye on the prize and the was going to get it, once he worked up the nerve that was. Things like this took time... Three years worth. "I guess I'll let you go," he said. "Don't want to bother you too much."

DK blinked. "I'm not allowed to swear. It's bad and my mom and dad wouldn't like it." He then nodded when he was called a boy genius. He was very proud of that.

Felix nodded on greeting. "Hey Recha." He blinked when Kim turned and greeted him. He blinked. "Are you okay?" It had taken him a moment to even ask because, well, Kim looked straight and decent for once. He didn't even recognize him. He dropped his bag on the center bed.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Wed Sep 02, 2015 1:32 pm

Sorca gave a small giggle at Mickey's suggestion, whispering something in his ear about how an entire summer was an awful long time to make up for in one go. When Xen passed, she watched him curiously. Now he interested her. She wondered just what kind of body was hiding under that uniform of his. "I wouldn't doubt it," she pondered, playing with a strand of hair from her ponytail that had fallen over her shoulder. "Maybe that's why he had to move to this country," she suggested with a nod. She honestly couldn't care less if he'd killed someone. He was a junior already and hadn't started any problems with anyone. She hadn't tried talking to him yet, mostly because of the stigma surrounding him, but this year was going to be different. It was funny though. The guy didn't really talk to anyone, and didn't exactly look at any of the girls in the school. She had to wondered if he even had an active sex drive. She'd find out soon enough. There was no man in the entire school who could resist her charms. Well...with the exception of a couple of the teachers, of course. Only, a couple.

Clarissa gave a small embarrassed smile at Uriyuu's question, but nodded. "Mmhm. They're...a good distraction." A distraction from what, she wouldn't say. She liked having at least some mystery surrounding her. Even if it was only a little. Besides, it would give Uriyuu a reason to talk to her a bit more. It would be weird having the school's resident bad boy hanging around her, but he didn't seem like an all together bad guy. Even if his uniform was modified and had a pack of cigarettes sticking out of the pocket. Speaking of...Clarissa tapped the top of the pack and looked at Uriyuu with a raised eyebrow. "Have you ever gotten detention or anything for carrying those around?" she asked curiously. He said he'd let her go, but she was curious. And unlike others in the school, she wasn't really wary of talking to someone like Uriyuu. 'Bad boy' or not. As long as she didn't give him a reason to dislike her, she guessed that it would be fine.

Boreas rolled his eyes. "Your parents aren't here, are they. Besides, swearing isn't that bad. It's just a different way to express yourself. Saying 'smart...butt' instead of smart ass just sounds weird. If you're gonna refute what I'm saying, just say you weren't making a smart comment," he huffed. He glanced down blankly at the purple haired kid when he'd nodded. "Just don't go around broadcasting that. You'll get bullied. Maybe even hung out of a window." He doubted that would happen at a strict ass school like this, but it hadn't been an uncommon form of bullying in his old school. All the smart kids got ridiculously bullied if they didn't help the dumb ones with their homework and shit. Even if they did, they still got bullied. Boreas never bothered with stupid things like that, and often got in trouble for beating the shit out of bullies in the school if he caught any of them touching one of the smarter kids. Still, said smart kids never really showed him any gratitude for it. If they'd helped him study even a little he probably wouldn't have failed so many classes.

Recha gave a small wave at Felix's greeting, grinning at the silver haired male's comment towards his brother before breaking into a small fit of laughter that he tried to stifle while putting his clothes away. Kim, too, grinned and sat casually on the edge of his bed, stopping himself from crossing his outstretched legs when Recha went "Ah ah, no." Kim only rolled his eyes. "There's no women here, so it's fine." Even though he said it, he didn't bother crossing his legs. "Yeah, I'm fine," he chuckled, turning his attention back to Felix. "Me and Recha thought of a nice little joke over the summer. It's gonna be a pain in the ass for me, but well worth it. See, for the first week of school, I swore to act and look straight as an arrow. And...have to not do anything with mechanics or anything like that," he grumbled, shooting a glare at Recha, who snickered. "We wanna see how many freshman girls we can catch staring at me when I look like this. After the first week, I get to go back to being my usual self, and see their poor little hearts break. Cruel, but funny," he chuckled innocently.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Wed Sep 02, 2015 3:18 pm

Mickey grinned. "Well, the juniors will be getting together tonight and probably this weekend. Two sessions good enough for you," he asked as he moved a bit closer to her. He shrugged when Xen was mentioned. "I bet he's just waiting for the right moment." Mickey looked over his shoulder. "I should probably find out who my roomies are."

Felix listened to the two of them. Kim was extraordinary and Recha was a bit weird. Sexuality didn't bother him and while the didn't care to really explore the same sex, he thought Kim to be interesting. "Good luck." He didn't think Kim would last. He'd probably secretly be snogging someone before the day was out.

DK scratched his head. "I don't want to hang from a window or swear, when if they aren't here." He paused and adjusted his bag. It was quite heavy, but there had been so much stuff to carry.

Uriyuu raised a brow. "Distraction?" He looked at the cigarettes and grinned. "Plenty of times, but old habits die hard." He shrugged, but was secretly glad she hadn't just walked away. "I can deal with the detention."

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Wed Sep 02, 2015 6:54 pm

Sorca gave a smile at Mickey's suggestion. "Mhmhmhm...two sounds perfect," she chuckled, drawing a single finger underneath Mickey's chin and moving her face closer to his until they were mere inches apart. To be honest, right now she was just teasing him. She wasn't going to give him a single thing until later tonight when the juniors were supposed to be 'getting together'. When Mickey said he should find out who his room mates were, Sorca's smile widened and she moved her face away from the blonde's. "I should probably do that too. See you tonight," she told him with a wink before heading off towards the girl's dormitories. The first day back and she already had plans to sleep with one of the most gorgeous guys in the school. Yeah, this was going to be a good year.

Kim rolled his eyes when Felix told him good luck, waving his hand at the silver haired male once. "Please, I don't need luck. I got this." He glanced to Recha when he heard his brother clear his throat and saw him with his eyebrow raised and a slight grin. "What?" Recha chuckled. "The hand thing. You're doing it again." Kim couldn't help but groan. Recha'd been on him like a watch dog ever since they'd schemed this up, trying to stop him from doing everything that made Kim the obviously gay teen that he was. Crossing his arms while leaning to the side, putting his hands on his hips, making rather flamboyant gestures. The whole shebang. "Pff, whatever. I still got this."

"Then don't go around just announcing that you're a kid genius." Boreas frowned. "Not that it wouldn't be kinda obvious anyways," he said lightly, putting his hand on DK's head. "You're ridiculously tiny."

Clarissa only shrugged when Uriyuu asked about the books being a distraction. Maybe she could get him curious enough to actually have a full conversation with her. He never spoke to her for more than a few moments at a time. She knew that she was popular around the school, but it was hard to believe that someone like Uriyuu could be shy. "That's a really bad 'old habit'," she told him quietly, walking over to the return desk and dropping her books off. "You could get cancer you know," she said with a nod. She'd continued talking to him as she'd walked just so it didn't seem like she was walking away from him. "Detention sounds boring. And horrible. I wouldn't know how you do it," she told him with a small giggle.

Cross Kiline had left the assembly as silently as Xen had. There were some rumors about him as well, but they weren't nearly as bad as the rumors about the foreigner. Unlike Xen, people had actually heard Cross speak before, though whatever he said was usually brief in nature. He had unusual black hair that shined blue in sunlight and had locks and strands of natural silver that were spread over random places in his hair. He was a naturally quiet boy of seventeen, that people often mistook for being a twenty-something year old when he was out of school. His uniform was fairly neat, but still not completely up to code. His tie was loosened slightly, the top couple buttons of his shirt were undone, and his blazer, which was an altogether different color from the usual school blazer (the school's blazers were either a light or dark blue, depending on grade level, while Cross's blazer was pure black with silver buttons rather than the school's gold). The tall raven haired male wheeled his luggage quietly along the school halls with his usual bored 'I don't really give a damn' expression that tended to scare people off.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Wed Sep 02, 2015 11:04 pm

Batsu Savage chewed lightly on the end of his pen. The gray eyed male didn't seem to be very interested in what was going on and had taken to playing with his phone. When people started moving around him, he looked up and grabbed his bags. He started towards his room, giving a small greeting here and there. It was all just a front. He hated this place and he wanted nothing more for things to go back to the way they were before his parents moved him to this boring ole town. He wondered who his roommates would be this year. He got to the room and dropped his bags far right bed and began to unpack. A sigh of relief escaping him.

Uriyuu wondered what her distraction was and laughed when she spoke of his bad habit. "I have to die someday, why not let it be doing something that keeps my nerves relaxed. Besides, no one really cares." His parents sure didn't. Mr. and Mrs. Serizawa was always too busy going at each other's throats to care what their teenage son was doing. It was the reason they sent him here, so they wouldn't have see him for most of the year or worry about him overhearing their arguments about everything and nothing. Uriyuu sure as hell wasn't complaining either. The arguments were getting old and he sometimes wished they'd just leave him here for forever like the Kianashi girl. Life would be grand then. "Detention isn't so bad. I usually just have to wash off all the blackboards and Gabe...er, I mean Mr. Fujioka is pretty cool with me, so he let's me listen to music."

Mickey had some decency, for if he hadn't, the entire school would get one hell of a show. "See you tonight, Sorca." He waved goodbye and headed to his room. He groaned aloud when he saw the inky black hair of Xen. "Great, I get to room with the killer. What other surprises does this year have in store for me," he asked sarcastically. Xen either didn't know Mickey was in the room, or he was skillfully ignoring the guy. This didn't sit well with Mickey. "Hey, I'm talking to you."

DK looked up and huffed when Boreas decided to use his head as some kind of hand rest. "Hey, I'm eleven! What do you expect? I can't be a giant like that guy," he said as he pointed to a red haired male who looked abnormally tall in his eyes.

Felix smirked when he heard the two going through the motions of how Kim wasn't being masculine and straight enough. He undid his tie, took off his blazer, unbuttoned his shirt, and rolled up his sleeves. That was more like it. He walked over to the door and looked down the halls. People were moving all about. It was quite refreshing to see familiar faces once more. "So Recha, Kim, how was your summer," he asked. Maybe by talking to the two of them, Recha would lay off of Kim for a while. They were in the privacy of their own bedroom, even if the door was open and people popped in here and there to say hi.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Thu Sep 03, 2015 1:32 pm

Cross walked into his new dorm room, not breaking stride when he saw someone was already in there. He chose one of the untaken beds on the far side of the room and started unpacking his things without a word or a glance to the red haired male in the room. He didn't care much for making friends. He'd made two good friends over the past two years. The first one moved away and the second one died in an accident, each in different school years. He wasn't all that optimistic about this school year.

Clarissa blinked at him. No one cared? Surely that wasn't true. "Well I care. It's better to live a long healthy life than a short painful life because of something silly like cancer from smoking," she said with a small nod. Nobody deserved to feel like they didn't have someone that cared about them. To be honest, part of the reason she was so popular in school was because she was practically a guidance counselor. If somebody was ever looking depressed, she usually went right over to them to try to make sure they were okay. "You must be a frequent visitor in detention if you can call him by his first name," Clarissa said with a small giggle, waving Uriyuu to come walk with her as she went to look for a new book. Or rather...probably several new books.

Kymin had been walking not too far behind Mickey to his dorm room and nearly groaned when he saw that the blonde was going to the same place as him. Not that he hated Mickey or anything, but they didn't have very good blood between the two of them. Their first year here, the two of them had gotten into a pretty bad fist fight, and Mickey almost always glared at him whenever they passed each other. However, just to make things awkward for the guy, and to piss him off, every once in a while, Kymin would flirt with Mickey, knowing perfectly well that the guy was straight as an arrow. When he heard Mickey ask what other surprises the year had in store for him, he walked up behind the blonde and spoke close to his ear teasingly. "Surprise." His eyes were shining with amusement as he pulled away and walked past Mickey before the guy could hit him. Once he heard Mickey giving that foreign kid a hard time, Kymin rolled his eyes. "Leave him alone Mickey or he'll kill you in your sleep," he joked, casting Mickey a grin. "Now that I think about it...nah, keep taunting him," he chuckled, going over to a bed.

"You're still short, even for an eleven year old. Hell, perfect height for an armrest, actually," Boreas thought aloud, putting his arm casually on DK's head as he walked. "And if I were you, I wouldn't start making comments about other people's heights. That guy could crush you with his thumb," he chuckled, looking over at the red haired male. Huh. Actually, that guy was wearing a freshman uniform too. He wondered if the guy was his age. Maybe he'd failed a couple of grades too. Perhaps the two of them would be able to get along.

Kim grinned when Felix asked how their summer had gone. "Great, actually. I managed to get a few new prototypes built," he said, his brown eyes shining happily. "Yeah, made of parts you dug out of the scrapyard," Recha said, rolling his eyes. "Hey, there's nothing wrong with acquiring some free parts," Kim shrugged, his brother obviously not dampening his mood. "Besides, at least I did something worth while, unlike someone," he teased, looking over at his twin in a dramatic way. "Hey, I got stuff done." "You were studying maps all summer long, lame-o." "I was planning," Recha said with a nod before looking over to Felix. "How was your summer?" he asked, focusing the conversation back on Felix to get Kim off his back.

Felix watched Kymin walk into the same room as Mickey. He suspected things would not go well. "My summer was good. I went to Romania with my dad." Felix loved those trips. Seeing the other side of his family was always refreshing. "Glad you two enjoyed your summer," he said with a smirk. "Recha, you should be proud of Kim. He will be an inventor one day and make you lots of money." He chuckled lightly.

DK huffed. "I'm not short for my age and I'm not an armrest. I simply didn't hit a growth spurt yet." DK waved Boreas off. "This is my stop," he said as he moved off to open the room door. "Middle bunk!" He ran over to the bed and hopped on it with a laugh.

Mickey turned on Kymin. "Fuck off you freak." He hated Kymin, with a passion. "If this guy ever lays a hand on me I'll make sure he regrets his birth." He tossed his bag onto the floor near his bed and glared at Xen then Kymin. "Worst year ever."

Uriyuu shrugged when she said she cared, but followed after her regardless. "I spend enough time there. Better than being out in the crowded halls with nothing to do." He liked that she was kind. "And if you care enough I'll cut back a little." He grinned. "Uh, want me to carry those?"

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Thu Sep 03, 2015 2:47 pm

Recha rolled his eyes when Felix said he should be proud of Kim. "Yeah, right. I'm not gonna need him to make me money," he huffed, glaring at Kim when his brother laughed. "Yeah, okay. You're gonna need all the help you can get lil bro." "Five minutes damn it, five minutes! Ugh, I swear to god, I'm never going to hear the end of it," Recha grumbled, throwing a pair of bundled up socks from his bag at Kim's head. "Aw come on, socks, really? They're at least clean, right?" Kim asked, throwing the socks back into Recha's bag. "No my dear clean freak brother, I pack dirty laundry. Idiot." "Yeah sure, I'm the idiot," Kim chuckled. "Why don't you tell Felix what your plans are for after you graduate? You know, that oh-so stable career you have planned out." Recha turned a bit red and glared at Kim. "Shut up," he growled, throwing the shirt he'd been putting away on his bed before walking out of the room.

Boreas rolled his eyes as the kid ran off to his room and made his way to his own room, blinking when he saw the tall red haired kid from before. "Aw shit, you're actually young," he sighed, only to earn a glance from the kid. He'd thought because of his height that the guy had been older, but when he'd seen the guy's face, it was clear that he really was the proper age for a freshman. Boreas looked around the room. He didn't really care that much which bed he got. He didn't see what the big deal was. They were just beds. So he took his things over to a random bed, blinking when he heard movement. Apparently the red haired kid didn't care much about unpacking and tossed his bag next to his bed, plopping down on the bed and crossing his arms behind his head, closing his eyes. "Uh..." Boreas blinked. "Not gonna unpack?" Bright brown eyes blinked when he didn't receive a response. "Hello?" He blinked again. Wait, really? Walking over to the guy, Boreas snapped his fingers not too far from the guy's face. "Seriously, already??" How the hell did a person fall asleep just like that?!

Kymin grinned at Mickey's hostility. "I'm not the one who looks like a walking freakshow. Seriously, got your dick pierced too?" This year was going to be interesting. Fucking around with Mickey was one hell of a good time. If he got a black eye out of it, so what? Not like Mickey would get away unscathed. "Yeah, that'll be easy to do once you're dead," he said sarcastically when Mickey said he'd make Xen regret it if he touched him.

"You could try doing your schoolwork," Clarissa suggested, stifling a giggle. Yeah, why wander the halls of the school anyways? There was plenty of stuff to do in the school, you just had to know where to look. "You'd do that for me?" she asked teasingly when he said he'd cut back a little if she cared enough. She blushed lightly when he asked if she wanted him to help carry her books, but smiled. "I'm fine. I carry a lot more than this most of the time, so I'm pretty strong," she joked, holding the books with one hand while pretending to flex her arm just to be playful. Only to end up dropping all the books she was holding anyways. "A-ah!...c-crud..." she mumbled, her blush brightening in embarrassment as she knelt down to start picking them up.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Thu Sep 03, 2015 3:46 pm

Felix glanced at Recha and Kim. He was beginning to wonder if these two would ever get along with each other. For twins, they sure had different personalities. Like extremely different. He was glad he was an only child. He watched the two throw clothing and wondered how the clean the dorm would stay before things got ridiculously out of hand. He didn't care for messes. It was easier to just keep things clean, that way he didn't have to worry about the dorm inspections. He looked between the two of them as Kim mentioned Recha's career choice, but the younger twin stormed out without any clarification. "What was that all about," he asked.

Haven entered the room to find two other people there. Both were taller than him and the one guy who looked to old to be a freshman was snapping his fingers. Haven moved off to the side, hoping to go unnoticed. He set his bag on his bed and started to unpack his things. He was nervous about being here, but he would be okay. That's what he told himself.

Mickey huffed. "Maybe, what's it to you," he asked Kymin, flicking him off. He shook his head. "I am not staying in here. I demand a room change," he grumbled and walked out.

"Schoolwork?" Uriyuu laughed lightly. "Oh no, I'm not the greatest at school work. It's boring and well, not my thing." He shrugged when she said she didn't need help. He wasn't going to ask twice. It wasn't his style. You either took the help when offered or not. When she dropped the books he had to hide the look of annoyance that was begging to be seen. How stupid could one get.... "Um, do you need help now," he asked as he bent down and picked up a few of the books.

Ellie practically bounced into her dorm room and started to put things away, humming lightly. This would be a great year. She wondered where her roommates were and if they would be as happy as she to be back for another year. The blue haired girl held up a dress. She had picked it out over the summer, because she knew for a fact that she was going to Homecoming this weekend! She just had to find a date. She blushed heavily at the thought. She should probably put up announcements later today.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Fri Sep 04, 2015 4:00 pm

Kim only rolled his eyes when Recha stormed out of the room. If he was as intent on his life course as he always said he was, then he shouldn't be embarrassed by it. He gave a small shrug when Felix asked about it. "Recha thinks he has things all planned out. Wants to be a "famous traveling mechanic". He doesn't get that nobody's gonna hire him to fix shit for them until he's well-known, and he's not gonna get well-known unless someone hires him. He's gonna end up starving himself to death," Kim said with a small frown, moving to start unpacking his things.

Boreas gave up on trying to get the sleeping kid's attention when an orange haired boy walked in. "Hey," he greeted simply, walking back over to his own bed. If the guy didn't want to talk, that was fine. He was starting to think that maybe he should try going to talk to people more his age. All these freshmen were bumming him out. It was seriously depressing that he was stuck in the same class as a nine year old, or however old that kid had been.

Kymin blinked in surprise a couple times. "I can't tell if you're being serious. Are you being serious?" he called after Mickey as the guy started walking out. "Can I see?" Since Mickey had already been pissed off, Kymin had just said that last bit to freak him out a little, chuckling once the guy was out of hearing range. The black haired male looked to Xen curiously. "Hey. You speak english?" he asked, tilting his head. That was one of the rumors surrounding the guy that Kymin was more willing to put up with. He doubted the guy had actually killed anyone. Even if he did look ridiculously menacing.

"I can help you with it, if you want," Clarissa offered as she was picking up her books. She didn't mind tutoring people. Not like she had all that much else to do with her time besides read and be socially awkward and clumsy. Her blush brightened at Uriyuu's question on if she needed help now. For a second, there was a slightly embarrassed pout on her face before she finally sighed. "Sure. Thank you." Might as well take the help, since he was offering it. Now that she'd gone and made a fool of herself.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Fri Sep 04, 2015 4:43 pm

Felix looked at Kim and then out to where Recha had run off. "We're still young and well, we all have dreams. We live and we learn and we make mistakes. Besides, we're only human." He smiled lightly and then started unpacking his own stuff after he saw Mickey leave the room, chuckling lightly when he heard Kymin calling after him.

Haven looked up, his green eyes round. "Hello." He gave a small smile and then sat on his bed. The young boy supposed that he could be friendly. This wasn't going to be like public school. People wouldn't be bullies, right? He supposed it was the reason he was here. His mother and father had gotten tired of him skipping classes and hanging out by the lake to avoid the bullies. His dad taught martial arts, but Haven didn't like violence, even if it was self-defense.

Xen had unpacked all of stuff by the time Mickey and Kymin had finished talking about him like he wasn't in the same room as him. Deep brown eyes turned to the black haired male when was speaking to him. He nodded lightly when asked if he spoke English. A yes or no question didn't require him to talk, so he wouldn't bother. He had no issue with speaking the language, but Xen didn't think there was much to say and even less to talk about.

Uriyuu frowned lightly. "Um, no thanks. I'm not going to do anything after school," he said with a sigh. "College is not in my future, but I'm thinking the military might be nice. Don't need books for that." He stood up with her books in his hand.

Ivaline kicked open her door. "What's up chicks!" She raised a brow when she saw no one was in the room. "Ugh, empty room....lame." She threw her suitcase on the bed and went out into the hall to find someone to talk with.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Sat Sep 05, 2015 4:37 am

Kim gave a small sigh at what Felix said. "Yeah...but Recha's smarter than that," he muttered, taking his clothes from his bag and refolding them before putting them away. His brother hadn't been too far off when he'd called him a neat freak. The teal haired male glanced towards the door when he heard someone yelling. Sounded like that guy Kymin. "Wonder what's going on over there," he pondered curiously. He kinda wanted to go check it out. Unpacking was boring.

"What's your name? I'm Boreas," the brown haired male said casually. At least the kid wasn't going to be completely silent. Instead of unpacking his clothes, Boreas climbed onto his bed and sat on it with his legs crossed. He'd unpack later. Maybe. Or maybe he'd just use his suitcase as his dresser instead and just leave everything in there. Yeah, that would be a lot easier.

"Ah, now this is a good start," Kymin said with a satisfied nod when Xen 'said' that he understood English. "You never actually killed anyone, right?" Nobody else was in the room with them, since Mickey had stormed out, so he figured that he might as well see if Xen was as bad as everyone claimed he was. "I won't tell, I swear," he joked with a grin. He actually kinda doubted that Xen would even answer that question. Hell, he'd been surprised that the guy had even acknowledged his first question. He'd either expected the guy to not know English, or to just have straight up ignored him.

"You're not..?" She wondered why. School wasn't that bad. She was actually kinda looking forward to going to college. But mainly because the real world kinda scared her. Clarissa's hazel eyes blinked when Uriyuu told her he was thinking military. "Well unless you plan on staying a foot soldier forever...books kinda do help," she told him with a meek smile. She wondered if he'd ever thought about how he'd rise through the ranks. She could tell that Uriyuu was smart, but what was the point if he never applied himself to anything? The black haired girl stood up as well once Uriyuu had her books. She honestly felt a bit bad for having him carry her books. She didn't like having others carry things for her.

Fara Farae was a tiny girl of fourteen, about the same size as the young freshman boy with the purple hair. She had long silver hair that she wore in two low ponytails that fell down her back in ringlets, and her green eyes looked down at the ground as she walked. She only really saw people's feet and used that as a way to keep from bumping into anyone. Needless to say, this tiny girl was quite shy. And the way her uniform framed her body made her look even more petite than she was. She walked past many people, glancing up just in time to see a girl exiting the room that she was going to. Without a word, Fara walked past said girl and into the room, going over to the bed closest to the door and began to unpack. She wanted the bed closest to the door so that...well, if her roommates had a lot of friends over, she had an easy escape route.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Sat Sep 05, 2015 11:31 am

Felix shrugged. He didn't have siblings, so he wasn't going to sit here and argue about the way Recha should be able to live his life. Instead he simply shrugged it off. "I'm going to go check the bulletin board to see if anything interesting is going to happen this week. I doubt Ellie informed us of everything." He smirked. "She probably ended up cutting her speech down after Ginjo reviewed it." He glanced over his shoulder at Kim. "And nothing's happening. Just Kymin pissing off Mickey as usual. They're roommates this year with that one guy that everyone thinks killed someone."

"Haven Ryusaki," the orange haired male replied. He looked down at his shoes. He was nervous about a lot of things, like classes, making friends, whether or not he'd fit in, and when he'd see his mom and dad again. Winter break seemed like so far away, and Christmas was even farther. "It's nice to meet you, Boreas." Such a strange name.

Xen wasn't surprised when Kymin asked him if he'd killed anyone and joked about it. The guy was a complete goofball. Xen however would not answer the question. What he may or may not have done was irrelevant. Seeing as though he had no questions to ask Kymin, he rolled over onto his side, his back turned to the other male and he closed his eyes. He could hear the shuffling of feet throughout the hall, the mixed voices of students and the nervous laughter of freshmen. He blocked them all out.

God help him, she was one of those know it all girls. Girls always thought they knew everything. Uriyuu shook his head. "Foot soldier is fine by me. I just want a good adrenaline rush and to serve my country and not have to worry about paying a butt load of money on a degree I'll probably never use. Hell, I'd probably flunk out."

Chris frowned. "Why does Nick get a room with you and not me," he asked disappointed. He looked across the hall, three doors down and saw his room number. "Nick let's switch. Me and Nagi are closer." That was mean, but true and Chris could have sworn he'd seen some little kid run into the room only seconds before. This was not happening.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Sat Sep 05, 2015 4:22 pm

"Yeah, I doubt it. She would've gone on for an hour if Yamaki had allowed it," Kim chuckled. "Alright, see ya." Kymin pissing off Mickey. He wondered how long it would be until things started getting thrown around in that room. "Actually, you know what, hold up, I'll come with ya," he said, laying a folded shirt down on his bed before starting over towards Felix. "Might as well, I wanna know what's coming up too," he said with a small smile. Man it was hard monitoring his actions all the time. He wondered if he could really last a week. "Besides, this is the only free day we get until this weekend. I don't wanna spend it doing nothing but unpacking."

"You too," Boreas said casually. "So. Why'd you get sent here? Run away from home or something?" Yeah, he still only saw this place as punishment. He didn't understand why anyone would send their children to a school with such tacky uniforms.

Clarissa frowned lightly and looked a bit concerned when Uriyuu said that he was fine with just being a foot soldier. "Do you think...you'd want to go to college after the military, or do you just...you know, plan on being in the military until...um...until they force you to retire," she asked, not wanting to mention the possibility that he could die. Why would anyone want to be a soldier their entire life? She didn't understand it. She respected the military and all, but people died. It was a terrifying profession, if one were to ask her.

Nagi frowned lightly when he realized that the three of them wouldn't be in the same room together. "This sucks," he huffed. "Maybe we can ask them to switch a person from our room out with you Chris," he suggested. He wasn't sure if the staff would go for it, but it was worth a try. Chris was his best friend, he didn't want to end up in different rooms. That would be so fucking boring and he couldn't deal with boring all semester long.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Sat Sep 05, 2015 4:55 pm

Haven blinked at the question. "I-it's not alternative school," he stuttered. "It's, just private school. My mom and dad thought it would be better than public school. I didn't really, do well there." He knew it sounded awkward, but he didn't want to say that he was here because he couldn't manage to make friends.

Chris nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like a plan." He looked from the red haired kid who was sleeping, to the scrawny orange haired kid, to the guy with weird looking eyes. "Yo, so which one of you want to change rooms," he asked.

Uriyuu shook his head. "I don't have the grades to get into college. Being a soldier all my life was the plan from the start. I'm either going to be forced into retirement or I'm going to die out there on the battle field. I'm not afraid of death. I know what I'm getting myself into." He shrugged. "What about you, college to become a counselor," he asked with a small smile. Uriyuu thought it was cute that she looked so concern with his career choice. He didn't want to be stuck in a classroom all day, so he might as well be useful taking bullets for the people that didn't have the balls to taken them.

Felix waited up for Kim. He walked down the hall to the Bulletin Board with all of the Announcements. "Homecoming is this weekend. You going? And if so, who's your date going to be? Guy or girl?" He smirked. "Ah, look at that, new clubs are going to be started up. Chess sounds boring as hell. Computer Club? What the hell is that? Do they fix computers or write code or both?" He shook his head. "Try-Outs will be next weekend for Football, Soccer, and Cross Country. I think I'm going to do Cross Country again this year." He read over the other announcements. Male and Female Host Clubs....Mickey, Kymin, and Sorca would just love that."

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Sat Sep 05, 2015 5:20 pm

Boreas raised an eyebrow. "There's a difference?" What the hell was an 'alternative' school? This didn't even count as a private school, this was boarding school. It was a place parents sent their kids when they didn't want to deal with them anymore. "So you were failing then?" he asked, leaning back on his bed and propping himself up with his arms. He then looked to the other kids who were asking if anyone wanted to switch rooms. He raised an eyebrow. "Why, you got crappy roommates or something?" he asked without moving.

Clarissa frowned when Uriyuu said that he'd either be forced into retirement or die fighting. She thought that was a terrible way to live. Why would he want to do something like that? "Well if...you do retire, what are you going to do then? All you'll know is fighting," she said with a frown. She really hoped he wouldn't say something like he'd kill himself. That would just be so depressing. They were teenagers, they shouldn't be thinking about things like dying and suicide. The black haired girl blushed lightly when Uriyuu asked what about her, and looked down in embarrassment. "I, uh...I still don't know what I want to do yet. I don't think I'd be too good of a counselor," she told him with a small, embarrassed smile. It wasn't that she wasn't good at helping people, it was that she got so worried over everything. She'd end up stressing out about every single person she took care of if she didn't think she'd helped them properly.

Kim followed next to Felix, casting some girls smiles when he caught their eye as they passed. Said eyes which had already been looking him over. "Homecoming? Aw crap, I...by that time it should be fine for me to lose the charade, right?" Kim said with a small frown. If he couldn't find a guy as a date, he wouldn't mind taking a girl just so she didn't have to go alone, but...it'd be nice to go with a guy, but he didn't know if there were any males in the school besides him who were openly gay. "I'm not sure if I'd be able to find a guy to take with me," Kim admitted with a small chuckle. When Felix started reading off the clubs, Kim gave a small sigh. "Still no robotics."

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Godfather Sat Sep 05, 2015 5:38 pm

Haven shook his head. "No, I just, didn't attend all my classes like I was supposed to. They think that this school will keep me from skipping." He wasn't going to say any more on the subject. When some kid asked to switch rooms he remained silent. Chris nodded. "Yeah, I got the short end of the stick. A toddler just walked into my room and I want to be with my friends, not a pipsqueak."

Uriyuu shrugged. "Hopefully I'll be old, so I'll sit at home and watch bad TV and eat pizza and drink." Just like his dad did. Except he wouldn't be the guy to marry and have kids. He wouldn't argue with an estranged wife who thought she needed more and more money to look younger and younger as she continued to get older and older. He wouldn't be the father who wouldn't get out and teach his kid how to play football or baseball. He wouldn't be the retired soldier that came home to something. No, he wanted to have nothing. Nothing to lose, but everything to gain. He'd just be a soldier. and then nothing. "You'd be okay as a counselor."

Felix glanced at Kim. "You should be fine by Saturday." He chuckled as Kim smiled at the girls. "I'm sure you'll be able to find someone," he said. Felix wasn't sure if he wanted to go. He'd rather not. "If you can't find someone, I'll tag along with you," he said as he continued scrolling the list. "Why don't you just make a robotics club. I'm sure Ellie could help you arrange things."

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Post by The Merciful Overlord Sun Sep 06, 2015 2:50 am

"They're probably right," Boreas shrugged. His eyes narrowed lightly when the brown haired kid mentioned that he'd rather not be rooming with a pipsqueak, calling DK a toddler. Because really, who else could the guy be talking about? A far as he knew and had seen, there weren't any other little kids around in this school. Now, Boreas didn't really want to room with that little kid. The guy would probably continuously bother him. However, he sure as hell couldn't sit to the side if this other kid had to room with him and would probably end up bullying the poor kid. At the same time though...he glanced to Haven. The guy seemed rather meek, to be honest, and there was no proof that the guy before them wouldn't just turn his bullying on Haven instead. Still, DK was a lot younger and a lot more vulnerable than Haven. Haven could probably take care of himself. Boreas gave a small sigh. "Yeah, yeah. Sure, I'll switch. Glad I didn't bother unpacking yet," he huffed lightly. This was gonna be a long year.

"And do nothing for the rest of your life? I know it's not my place to butt in, since I barely even know you and all, but...that's really no way to live," she said with a frown, her hazel eyes growing a bit more concerned for the red haired male in front of her. "I mean...don't you want a family or anything?" Clarissa shook her head with a small smile when he said she'd make an okay counselor. "I get too attached to situations in other people's lives. I'd probably end up completely stressed out before my first year as a counselor even ended," she admitted with a bit of embarrassment on her face.

"Yeah, if Recha doesn't make me take a girl to Homecoming just to make the joke more laughable," Kim chuckled lightly. Hell, Recha was probably already over his little tantrum from earlier. Which meant he'd be back to scheming by the end of the day. He wondered...usually Recha got pissed off at him, but he'd never stormed out of a room like that before. Brown eyes glanced to Felix. Did his twin have a crush on Felix or something? Or was it just being embarrassed in front of someone else that had done it? Kim blinked when Felix said he'd tag along. "You make it sound like it would be a pity date," he said with a small laugh. He had to talk to Recha. If his brother had a thing for Felix, he was going to stay far away from that one. He didn't need his little brother hating him for the next two years of their lives. Or more. "Make a robotics club?" Kim chuckled. "I wouldn't have a clue where to start. Or hell, even what we'd do. Like, if we'd just build things, or...I dunno, look up the latest news on robotics or...hell, is there even anyone in this school nerdy enough to join a robotics club?" Kim blinked when he heard a small voice behind him, and when he turned, he damn near went 'awww' at the tiny silver haired girl standing behind him.

"There's a robotics club here..?" Fara asked in a tiny voice that sounded an awful lot like a shy whisper. She liked building mechanical things, but she wasn't really all that good at it. If there was a robotics club here, maybe they could teach her how to build things better. But she'd heard what the guy in front of her had just said. She didn't want to join the club if there were people who would bully her for it. In fact, she hadn't even meant to ask him aloud, because of what he'd said. She kinda hoped he wouldn't pick on her.

First Day at Roulette High Empty Re: First Day at Roulette High

Chris grinned when the guy said he'd switch with him. "Great! Let's go find a teacher or someone in charge so that we can make this official." He looked to Nagi and Nick. "Try not to get yourselves in trouble, okay?" He exited the room and Nick found his way to a bed where he dropped his stuff. "Is he sleep," he asked Haven, pointing to the sleeping red head. Haven nodded lightly.

"I don't want family or kids. That stuff isn't for me. It doesn't look very promising. I mean, my parents sent me here so they didn't have to worry about picking me up after school or listening to them argue or worry about feeding and caring for me. They aren't exactly a happy couple, so why should I set myself up for that?" He gave a dismissive wave. "What about you? Want kids and a husband?" He chuckled when she gave her reason for not wanting to be a counselor. "At least you're honest."

"It's called being a good friend," he murmured. "But call it what you want. The offer stands until Saturday or I get dragged in by someone else." He doubted anyone was going to bother him about the dance. Felix didn't even like to dance. It was kind of pointless if you asked him. "Didn't I just say that Ellie would be happy to help or were you too busy daydreaming?" He glanced over his shoulder when he heard a voice and then looked down at the silver haired girl. She must have been a freshman, since she was so small and he'd never seen her before. "Not yet, but Kim here is thinking about starting one. Are you interested," he asked. It was weird meeting another person with silver hair. Aidelia Talan had silver hair too, but it was still rare in his mind.
