Movie Night Empty Movie Night

Post by The Godfather Mon Mar 13, 2017 2:09 pm

Felix dressed up in a pair of black jeans and a white button up shirt. His silver hair had been dried and was now sitting neatly atop his head. His blue eyes adjusted to the darkness as he walked through town, heading for the theatre. He was supposed to meet Kymin and his friends there. He was still a bit downed about not having Recha with him, but it would be okay. He was going to search for a private showing and take Recha and that would hopefully make up for this. He stopped when he got to the movie theatre. There was a  lot of people and now that he thought about it, he didn't have Kymin's number. It would have been helpful. He scratched the back of his head lightly and looked around. He spotted a few people he knew from classes and just seeing them in the halls. He didn't speak to them though, they were all talking with friends and despite his friendly personality, Felix was really reserved. The silver haired male decided to stand near the doors in case Kymin and his friends hadn't arrived yet.

Movie Night Empty Re: Movie Night

Post by The Merciful Overlord Thu Apr 27, 2017 11:45 pm

Kymin walked towards the movie theater, trying to hold back a grin. He was dressed in black jeans and a white V-neck t-shirt, a silver chain dangling around his neck. At least, it looked silver. In all reality, it was a white gold chain that Lilly had gotten him. He missed her, and rarely ever took the necklace off. His black hair, which was usually neat during school hours, fell messily atop his head. As he approached the theater, he pretended to be talking on his phone. "Hey, where you at?" He blinked and looked around, catching Felix's eye and giving him a wave while walking towards him. "Seriously dude, we had this planned ages ago," he huffed, holding up a finger to Felix once he got to him. "Tch. Yeah, fine, do what you gotta. Talk to you later." He hung up on his pretend phone call and looked to Felix with a light smile. "Hey, um. So my other two buddies decided they had better things to do, so it looks like it's just you and me. That cool?" he asked with an apologetic smile.

Felix spotted Kymin and returned the wave. He'd settled against the wall with his hands in his pockets a few moments ago, but now that Kymin was here, he pushed away from the wall and waited for the guy to approach. Felix picked up on the fact that only Kymin was here, and his friends were not. He waited quietly as Kymin finished up the phone call. It didn't sound as if it was ending well. Blue eyes were unwavering as Kymin explained the situation and Felix gave a small smile. So it was just him and Kymin tonight. Okay, he could handle that. "Yeah, that's fine. Sorry your friends bailed on you." If he'd been one to blabber nervously, he would have said something dumb like, 'More popcorn for us.' He looked over his shoulder at the theater and then back to Kymin, giving him a brief once over. Funny they were both dressed in black and while. "We'd better head inside if we want to get good seats," he offered, starting inside towards the area to purchase tickets.

Kymin shrugged. "No big deal, really. I'll just have to brag to them later about how great the movie was," the black haired male said with a small grin. He started into the theater and glanced around. It was getting full already, and there was still a while yet before the movie started. "I didn't keep ya waiting too long, did I? Ah...come to think of it, I should have given you my number. Hindsight's 20/20," Kymin joked with a chuckle. Once they were in line, Kymin put his thumbs in his pockets and casually browsed over the showtimes. "I'll buy the tickets if you buy the popcorn?" he asked the silver haired male, looking at Felix from the corner of his eye.

Movie Night Empty Re: Movie Night

Post by The Godfather Thu Jun 01, 2017 1:24 am

It was rare that he found himself in the company of new people. He was very reserved, keeping a small circle of friends in order to avoid the extensive drama that came with being a high school student. He cherished his solitude,  even more so since his enrollment in Roulette High. He spent day in and day out surrounded by students, but there were always small moments of freedom. Moments where he could hang out on the roof, or run the track, or even swim. Some people found being active a chore, but he found it to be relaxing, so long as he wasn't getting caught up in the rustle and bustle of everyday school life. "They're missing out on something good," Felix offered,  his blue eyes directed away from Kymin. He was looking over the other movies that were playing tonight. "No, I hadn't been waiting long," he answered,  shaking his head. He looked at Kymin, shrugging lightly. "Seriously,  it's okay. We're both here so it's all good." Would he have liked the guy's number. Yes. It would give him the opportunity to hang out with new people,  but he doubted there was any point. This whole thing had been a random fluke. The suggestion of tickets and popcorn made him nod lightly. It was a fair trade he supposed. He let his gaze casually wander over the crowd. "Heard you're taking Talan to the dance," he said offhandedly. "Did you two start dating over the summer," he asked.

"Oh good. Usually I'm the one who's fashionably late, but I still don't like keeping people waiting long," Kymin joked, green eyes amused. It was funny, he'd half expected Felix Kuriyama to be a shy kid, but he seemed pretty okay with casual conversation. "Hm...you know what." The junior boy pulled out his phone, handing it to Felix after unlocking it and opening a document for a new contact. "Wanna put your number in?" Kymin offered a smile, as well as his phone, to the silver haired boy next to him. Better to get Felix's number early on. It would help in the long run. "Hm? Oh, Aidelia? Nah, we just started talking over the summer. Turned out neither of us wanted to be bothered with being asked to Homecoming by a hundred different people," he chuckled, "so we just arranged to go together. Makes things less complicated." Okay, so maybe that had been a bit conceited, but it was true. Deciding who to go to Homecoming with was a pain. It was better if you could mingle without obligation. Besides, Aidelia was actually a pretty cool person. He wasn't going to mind hanging out with her during Homecoming. Though she'd already made it blatantly obvious that she wanted nothing to do with him in an intimate type of way. Depending on how the night went and how much alcohol was actually snuck into the dance though...it was possible that would change.

Movie Night Empty Re: Movie Night

Post by The Godfather Thu May 24, 2018 12:30 pm

Felix was fully expecting a night of joking and laughter. Kymin was sort of a goofball....scratch that he was a goofball. Felix didn't mind. He just went with the flow of most things, it was less stressful that way. "That's generous of you," he responded. He didn't peg Kymin to be the type of person who cared about keeping people waiting or not. Felix blinked, blue eyes glancing at the phone that was being handed to him. "Sure." He took the older male's phone and put his number in it. He didn't think there would be any use for it. Kymin probably had better things to do than to hang out with him. The silver haired male handed the phone back to Kymin. "I understand," he commented after it was explained that Aidelia and he were just friends. "You're both quite popular." He didn't keep up with things like that, but it was an obvious observation. He moved up in the line. "I thought you'd like the attention though. Guess I was wrong for assuming." He cast the other a sideways glance.

Movie Night Empty Re: Movie Night

"You know, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not," Kymin said plainly, despite the amused smile on his face. The smile widened a touch when Felix took his phone. Cool. After getting his phone back, Kymin shot off a message to Felix's newly entered number. 'Annnd now you have my number. ; )' The black haired male gave a small shrug, pocketing his phone. "I think Aidelia is popular because of her accent. It's kinda sexy," he joked. "She's surpringly mature, too. All business most of the time. Not sure why I'm so popular though. I'm just doing me," he admitted with a bright, amused smile. He knew why people liked him. It was mostly superficial. He was pretty, plain and simple. People liked hanging out with other pretty people. Except maybe Mickey. The guy had the worst attitude. Okay, so maybe people liked hanging out with him because he was a clown, too. Still, it wasn't like the popularity was well deserved. He really just was being himself. 'Himself' just happened to be a pretty goofball. Though it probably helped that anyone who had a libido wanted to screw him. Green eyes caught the gaze of the blue ones next to him for a sexond before turning away. Kymin gave another shrug. "Normally I don't mind the attention, but school just started back up. I wanna take advantage of the peace while we still have no schoolwork."

Movie Night Empty Re: Movie Night

Post by The Godfather Fri May 25, 2018 1:32 pm

"I'm not." Sarcasm was not something Felix often partook in. For the most part he thought himself to be bland, if not boring. He didn't really interact with people and preferred to keep to himself. He didn't lack self-confidence, he just didn't see anything special about himself. He thought himself to be fairly dull in comparison to others. The only thing he had going for him was his swimming, but he didn't brag about it because it was just for fun. Vin was the only one who took it above and beyond and thought him to be a threat. The guys on the team acknowledged his strengths in the pool, but they didn't feel threatened by it, unless they'd been lying to his face the past two years. Even that didn't bother him. He pulled his phone out of his pocket as it vibrated. He knew it was Kymin, but he wanted to go ahead and save the contact. He looked up when the older male commented on Aidelia's accent. A lot of people thought accents were attractive, so he didn't think less of the other for pointing it out. The silver haired male put his phone back into his pocket. I think you're the one who's lacking maturity…. Felix's blue gaze shifted as he saw a few more classmates walking past, laughing and joking with each other. He looked back to Kymin when the other started talking about how he didn't understand why he was popular. …..And everyone else in this school. Out loud he said, "You're easy to get along with and very open. People like that." He gave a small shrug. When his gaze met Kymin's he held it. Felix wasn't one for flinching. Hands in his pockets he moved up again in the line. "Good luck," he said causally. "The freshmen are already swooning." He tilted his head to the right of Kymin where a few freshmen were giggling and pointing at the green eyed male.
