Giving a whole new meaning to the word Chakra (Not so much of a plot, as a simple idea...)
I was rereading our thread (many times, I might add), and an idea came to me. What if (this is getting into some kind of made up history, mind you) every ninja has a sort of demon inside them, which is what their chakra is. Of course, this 'demon' is the thing that drives people to do cold things, evil things, uncivil things, etc. But no one really knows that these demons are the driving force behind their chakra; no one ever lives long enough for the demon to grow strong enough to escape, or even have a legitimate form for that matter. Do you remember that day when Serenity's soul started fading away? I was thinking, maybe some chakras can take control of their host, and drive them to do crazy things. Like Serenity's chakra did. Like Felix's chakra is doing. Of course, no one realizes that these chakras are actually demons, not even Ser. But, maybe Kyla does. Maybe she's trying to keep people away from Serenity because of the strength of her so-called 'demon'. Kana's chakra has yet to take form, because she hasn't been alive long enough.
I also had an idea about Jasper. What if Jasper had a kekkai genkai and didn't know it? Remember Boreas? What if that was really Jasper's chakra haven taken a form, but he was able to slightly control it as a kekkai genkai? He wouldn't know that Boreas was a demon of course, but the thing was, Boreas had gotten stronger the more Jasper had allowed him to fight, which was why eventually, Jasper stopped using him. But what Jasper didn't realize was that Boreas was his chakra itself.
With all this being said, this can open doorways to new plots everywhere. Kyla maybe be the only one that knows that immortals can unlock the potential hidden within their chakra. Maybe she realized that once unlocked, Kana would have a powerful one, maybe even powerful enough to keep Felix in check. Perhaps she knows that Serenity's chakra is god-like, unstoppable if it's released, much like Felix's, only worse.
Maybe. Just maybe, the real reason Kyla 'created' Kana, was to give someone a chance to 'defeat' Serenity in the future. You know, should Serenity ever get even more out of hand than she is now. Maybe, what really is going on, is that Kyla is keeping Felix from Serenity so that Felix won't get attached to her, and hesitate to finish the job, so-to-speak. (For this to be at all legitimate, Kyla would have to think that somewhere in Serenity lurks a great evil. Not actually too hard to imagine if you think about it, she's already insane. Serenity, that is.)
So, in a nutshell, all people who have chakra, have these demons. Only, they never get the chance to develop, because of the human's short lifespan. But immortals, as we know, live forever, therefor giving these 'chakra demons' a chance to develop and form, feeding off the sorrow and madness of the world around them, eventually driving their hosts mad. Well, that, or the host can have a strong enough willpower to keep it under wraps. But we all know that madness has a way of finding its' own way into our fragile minds....
