The Lone Life of an Immortal
Okay, so, sometime in the far future, after the kids are dead, is when this will take place.
Things have been going surprisingly well between our favorite couple, but we all know that never lasts. Felix is starting to miss his old self more and more, and one day the two get into an arguement (we'll say that by this time Felix has moved into a place of his own) and Felix leaves on a bitter note to go back to his house. The next day Serenity drops by his house rather unexpectedly asking Felix for a favor, a genuine smile on her face as she makes her request: "I want you to live like you did before you met me. Please forget all about me Felix." Not a hint of sadness on her face. Still pissed off about the day before, Felix agrees with no qualms. And then we'll say that a couple years later (maybe 8 or 9 years later), when Felix is really back to his old self, he notices something: no one had been going to Serenity's place to get healed for quite some time. At first he couldn't care less, but then he starts getting curious, as our old Felix tends to do (haha, like a curious little kitten). So he asks around a bit, finding out that Serenity had left the village years ago, and no one knows where she went.
Deciding to visit Hunter on th matter, Hunter informs him that the last time she visited was also several years ago, because she said she wanted to try and break his curse because she didn't like that he had to be attacked to the cave, obviously she failed at breaking the curse. Then she apologized and told him she wouldn't be visiting for a while, because she was leaving the Crested to travel for a long while. And when Hunter had asked about Felix, all she did was smile and say "I told him to forget about me."
And if Felix searched around more (which we know he will), he'd find that there was a small village quite a ways away from the Crested that had suddenly started doing much better a little after the time that Serenity had left. The village is very small, and very poor, and when you entered it, you would quite literally find yourself surrounded by Death. The village has many sick people in it, though the numbers of the sick have dwindled greatly since when Serenity first arrived.
If he were to ask about Serenity, he'd get the same answer from just about everyone: "Oh, Serenity? Of course she lives here! She's very kind, and helps all the villagers whenever they need it, but she hasn't really gotten attached to anyone since she's arrived her a few years back. It's no surprise either, with how often people pass on in this village."
Edit: The reason for the arguement:
So, After the kids are dead, Serenity goes to visit Kyla after telling Felix that she has a sick friend in the Rock Village she has to go see to. For whatever reason, Felix doesn't buy this (it might be that the only thing of interest in the Rock is Kyla) and follows Ser on the DL. Only to find out that she really was going to see Kyla, and that Ser is not happy. She goes off on Kyla for making Kana immortal, claiming that Kyla is just trying to rip the only permanent thing in her life away from her: Felix. After going through some words with each other, Kyla, being the deviant she is, and knowing that Felix is listening, asks Ser something along the following lines: "What, exactly, do you want me to do about this? Make the girl mortal again, so you can have Felix all to yourself?" At first, Ser looks incredibly insulted, but then her mortal side emerges again (it had been there the whole time she was talking to Kyla) and she says "You know what, yeah. Yeah actually, that would be fucking great." Of course, Felix hears this. Along with whatever information about Serenity Kyla had decided to reveal earlier on. Felix either confronts Serenity on this right then and there, or waits and goes back to the Crested to warn Kana to stay away from both Ser and Kyla for the time being, and confronts Serenity on this when she returns to the Crested, resulting in the fight that ultimately (along with the Valley's new mistrust of her) pushes Ser to leave the Crested.

Uh oh. I feel something larger coming out of this plot. Maybe a Kalix moment, orrrrr, some one on one with Sulix.

I thought we were doing Sulix in the mission thread? By that point in time Suki will be dead. =/ I think a Kalix moment would probably fit in there.

T-T Sukiiiiiiiiiiii. And of course we're having a Sulix scene in the mission thread. Kalix, hmm, okay.

Re: The Lone Life of an Immortal
Hm. I was actually rereading this, and thinking about something. Instead of 8-9 years after Serenity leaves, what if we made it somewhere around a century? We'll say that something odd reminded him of her after all those years, and he finds out that almost everyone in the village has completely forgotten about her, because most all those who knew her are dead, which will make it harder for him to find her (although with his super-sleuth skills, not TOO much harder XD).
That being said, this'll lead to more Kalix time, as with Serenity gone, Felix really doesn't have anyone but her, and in addition to that, he's returning to the old sensei that Kana had looked up to when he'd trained her years and years before. (Of course, this might only make Kana endear him more, considering the old him is much more like her.)
