The Road Back Home

Serenity wondered if she should've let him help. She could tell he didn't like that she didn't want him to help. Well, it's not that she didn't want him to, it's just that she didn't like the idea of him going back to work so soon after coming home. Serenity watched as Felix stood up and told her he was going to sleep. "Okay. Good night," she called softly. When she heard his door leave, she leaned back on the couch and sighed. She wondered if he would try to do something about it anyways. If he did, it's not like she'd hold it against him. She looked down and gave a small smile. Would Felix go against her wishes on this one...?
