Felix turned his head so he could face Kymin. "Yes, I have returned from the dead of sleep. Maybe if you didn't wake up so damn early I wouldn't have to act in such an unpleasant way." Felix yawned again and then leaned his head against Kymin. "You sure you just don't want a hotel shower so we can shower together in peace," he asked with a sly smile. Felix looked down at Vishnu, petting him on the head. "Good morning Vishnu." Felix kissed Kymin and then slipped off the bed. "Anyway, I'm not opposed to the hotel, just let me change my shirt first." He slowly pulled it over his head. His back to Kymin was obvious reasons. He hadn't looked at the damage, so he didn't want Kymin freaking out if it was bad. He reached down and searched his bag for a clean shirt.

Kymin chuckled lightly. His eyes still weren't shining like normal, but he seemed lively enough, even if he wasn't grinning. "Well, that too," he chuckled. "Although...can we see someone about my shoulder first..?" he asked, looking off to the side. He didn't want to admit how much it hurt, but the thing had drilled right down to the bone and further. He smiled at the kiss, looking to Vishnu, who briefly licked Felix's hand happily before jumping onto Kymin's chest to try and lick him, making him tense up, his hand clenching in pain before he chuckled lightly. "G-good morning to you too," he coughed lightly, sitting up so he could gently push the dog off, coughing lightly while Felix looked for a shirt. That had fucking hurt.

"Sure," he said. "I asked the doctor if he could get those burns treated for you as well." Felix slipped on a new shirt. Zipping it up he started putting his headband on, but stopped when he heard Kymin coughing. Felix turned and looked at the other shinobi. "You okay," he asked. He looked to Vishnu. "Down," he said coldly. He walked over to the bed a put the puppy on the floor. He knew it had been an accident, but Vishnu was far too hyper to be on the bed with Kymin while he was in such an injured state. Felix sighed and looked at the ground.

"Thanks for that," Kymin said. He was glad he had Felix lookin out for him. He nodded lightly at Felix's question. "Y-yeah, I guess he's just glad that I'm okay," he chuckled lightly. Moving his feet off the side of the bed so that he could stand up, he went over to Felix and kissed him lightly. "Thanks for worrying and looking out for me," he said with a small smile. "I'll get better fast," he promised with a smile, trying to reassure Felix. "Now about that doctor...I hate to be pushy, but my arm kinda hurts," he chuckled, saying nothing about his chest. Honestly, he was trying not to think about that. The creature had carved it's name into his flesh. It was a horrifying thought.

Vishnu whimpered lightly when he was put on the ground, almost as if he realized the damage he'd done, and sat down, looking up at his owners as they spoke.

Felix ignored Vishnu as he listened to Kymin. "Uh, it wasn't a problem." Felix looked down when Kymin thanked him. He forgot he wasn't supposed to be worrying. When Kymin talked about his arm hurting, Felix lived up to his name. He stood and headed out the door, quickly finding Dr. Oliver. "Hey, is the burn and bone specialist here?" He asked. "Kymin's in pain and it would be easier if he got healed now, or at least received pain meds. Money's not an issues either." His blue eyes were blank as he spoke.

Kymin blinked when Felix stood and disappeared from sight in all but an instant. He went to say something, but then stopped, looking down at Vishnu. "Ya think maybe I worried him more?" When Vishnu barked, Kymin gave a sigh.

Oliver blinked when the silver haired man from the night before came up to him. "Yes, I think he's in by now. He should be, at least." He blinked when Felix mentioned his friend being in pain, and how it would be easier. "I'll go find him and send him in," he said with a smile. "It should only be a few minutes, if he's not busy right now." Oliver gave Felix a nod and started off towards the elevators. "You can come with, if you'd like," he said, pressing the button for up. "His office is just upstairs."

Felix smiled when Oliver said he should be in by now. "That's good." He watched the guy start towards the elevator. He quickly followed after him when asked if he wanted to come along. "Sure." Felix was only going to make sure he didn't have to 'persuade' the guy to help Kymin. Felix looked down the hall. "Did Kinana stop by this morning, my friend said someone had come into the room this morning. It wasn't a nurse either, they left too quickly." He didn't mind, he was just curious. "She's an odd girl," he stated casually. He figured he could start a friendly conversation.

Oliver only gave a polite smile when Felix decided to tag along. He frowned lightly at the mention of Kinana, and had to try not to fidget nervously. When the elevator got there, he smiled again, answering Felix's question. "Yes, she did. She didn't want to wake you though, so she told me to call her when you two woke up. I haven't yet, but I guess after your friend gets healed I won't have much choice," he chuckled nervously, getting on the elevator and pressing the button for the floor above. "Odd...odd's a good word to describe her," he chuckled. "Strange is a little better. She walks around the village with a pet bear for goodness sake..." he said, shaking his head.

Why did this guy seem nervous? Did he think the nosy little girl would pop up from nowhere and scare him? Felix almost snickered at the thought. "That is strange. I've never seen anyone do such a thing." He shrugged and leaned against the elevator wall. "I appreciate you looking out for me and Kymin," he started. "Especially Kymin. You were the only person that would know he needed a cast after I passed out." He smiled kindly. "Thank you." Felix tugged at the bandages on his arm as he let his mind wander. When the elevator stopped he pushed himself away from the wall and waited for Dr. Oliver to lead the way.

"Me either until her," he said. Oliver blinked when the guy thanked him, then gave an embarrassed grin. "No prob. Just doin my job," he said, rubbing the back of his head. When the elevator stopped, Oliver walked off, towards the end of the hall where there was an older looking man with peppered hair sitting at a desk looking some things over. "Excuse me, Dr. James?" he asked. "Do you have a minute?" Since Oliver was one of the younger doctors on staff, he only found it right to call the others doctor, rather than by their first names.

The older doctor looked over, straightening up a bit when he saw two people at his door. "Yes, what is it?" he asked, his grey eyes looking over the two. The blond one was a doctor here, wasn't he? Hm, his memory was becoming worse.

"This man and his friend arrived here last night with some pretty bad wounds. I took care of the basics, but...I can't do burns or bones, so we wondered if you could take a look at his friend before they left," he said.

The man was silent for a moment before looking to his desk and back to Oliver with a shrug. "Sure thing."

Felix followed Dr. Oliver down the hall to the office. Felix looked at the guy as he straightened up. Blue eyes gave the older man the once over. He'd have to do. Felix waited silently as Dr. Oliver explained their situation. He continued to remain silent as Dr. James decided to have his own moment of silence. Felix was impatient and he could have crossed that room in three steps tops. When the doctor finally shrugged and agreed to helping Kymin, Felix smiled. "Thank you," he said. Everything was finally moving forward. Kymin would be healed and they could get back to their vacation. So what if things would get complicated sometime in the future. Now was the only thing that should matter. "Also, do you know any good hotels," he asked Dr. Oliver. He gave a small smile. "Sorry for all the questions, we're not from around here."

Oliver gave a nod to Felix as the three headed back to the elevator. "Sure do. There's a nice one right down the street from here. You can see the sign from right outside," he smiled. Once in the room, Kymin was found laying back across the beds, his legs hanging over the side. Vishnu ran over to Felix, jumping happily up on his legs once the silver haired human walked back into the room. Kymin slowly sat up with a small sound of discomfort when people came into the room. Oliver only accompanied them so far as the room door, however, and told Felix he had something else to go take care of, bidding him a smiling farewell.

"Alright, let's see," Dr. James said, walking over to Kymin, who pulled the shirt from over his injured shoulder. "No no, take the other arm out too, I have to be able to see all the burns," the doctor said, shaking his head lightly. Kymin nodded, having a small bit of trouble getting hit shirt the rest of the way off with one arm. "Would you mind taking care of my shoulder first..?" the black haired ninja asked, to which the doctor nodded before getting to work. Kymin looked to Felix with a smile. "Thanks."

One was right down the street. He must have been completely out of it since he hadn't noticed yesterday. Felix shrugged it off, didn't matter. "Thanks," he told the doctor, giving him a small wave goodbye. Felix then turned to Vishnu and picked him up. "You haven't been outside as all, I hope you haven't left any surprises for the nurses." Felix petted the dog and watched the burn and bone specialist work. Felix tilted his head when Kymin thanked him. "No problem," he said. He just didn't want Kymin hurting was all. No need for unnecessary pain when it wasn't needed. He looked down to Vishnu and lifted the dog in the air, a little above his head. "Can you hold out a bit longer or do I need to take you outside now." Felix wasn't very willing to leave Kymin alone.

Kymin gave a small smile when Vishnu whimpered. "I think you should probably take him out," he chuckled lightly. He'd probably still be here by the time Felix came back in. Kymin flinched a bit when he unconsciously shifted his arm, coaxing a small glare from the doctor. "Do you want this to heal the right way or not?" Kymin gave a small, embarrassed chuckled and a small sorry. This doctor was a bit grumpy. Oh well, it's not like Kymin could pick and choose from doctors. He gave Felix a small embarrassed smile. He kinda hoped now that Felix would take Vishnu out. This was a bit embarrassing.

Felix smirked. "Will do," he said with a small wave. He held Vishnu to his chest and started out the door when he heard the doctor. Felix stopped and turned to shoot the guy a glare. Just who the hell had pissed in his cereal this morning? Felix went to say something, but he caught Kymin's embarrassed smile. Felix's eyes narrowed lightly and he turned away and left out the door. He went outside and found a nice little grassy area for Vishnu to play in and do his business. "There ya go, have it at little guy." Felix found a spot under a tree and took a seat, his legs crossed as he watched the puppy to make sure he didn't go running off.

Kymin gave a small wave with his good hand as Felix left. He didn't say anything, and tried not to move as the doctor worked on his shoulder. It was a good five minutes before Dr. James moved onto the burns on Kymin's chest. "I can stop the pain and heal it enough where it's not likely to get infected, but there's going to be scarring," he told the black haired ninja. Kymin frowned, but nodded. At least the pain would stop. Green eyes blinked in surprised when someone walked in, someone who was clearly not Felix.

Kinana looked around. "Hey there, looks like you're feeling better," she said with a mischievous grin. "Where's that Felix guy?"

Kymin blinked. "He...took the dog outside."

"Oh, right, I'm Kinana, I brought you guys to the village. Anyways, don't you know there's no animals allowed in hospitals?" she said with a raised eyebrow. When Kymin went to stutter out an apology, she grinned deviously. "Haha, I'm just jokin with ya. But since you're feeling better, my higher up wants to talk to you after you get all settled into a hotel. Heard you two were lookin for one," she said with a wink, laughing when she saw Kymin look off to the side. "Oh don't worry though, your secret's safe with me. Hm. I think I'm gonna chill here until Felix gets back," she said, plopping down on one of the beds. "These things are comfy," she stated, laying back on the bed that Kymin wasn't on and crossing her arms over her chest. Kymin merely looked at her, blinking. What was with this girl?

Felix let Vishnu run around outside for ten minutes before he finally called for the puppy to come to him. He picked the small dog up in his arms and headed back inside to Kymin's room. When he got there he blinked in surprise. Kinana was laying on his bed as if she was at home. What an odd child she was. "Hello there," Felix greeted as he put Vishnu on the floor. He didn't want him on Kymin's bed until the guy was fully healed and since the doctor was such a grouch, Felix didn't want Vishnu in the way. He glanced to Kymin. "How's your arm?" He walked to the edge of the bed, but didn't get too close. He wasn't sure if the doctor would get annoyed at him watching. He'd hate to have to break the guy's nose. Felix was trying not to look at Kinana, mainly because his expression would have to remain blank to keep from frowning at her. Not because he was mad or anything, but because she was so strange.

(What is it with Felix and breaking people's noses...)

Kinana smiled and sat up as Felix came into the room. "Hey," she greeted, looking between Kymin and the silver haired ninja with a devious grin, that disappeared when Kymin looked at her. "Anyways, I've told your partner this already, but my higher ups wanna talk to you after you find your hotel and get settled in. The main tower's on the other side of the village, but it shouldn't be hard to find. It stands out," she smiled.

Kymin looked to Felix with a smile as he walked in, glancing to Kinana as she started talking. "It's good. Doesn't hurt anymore," he smiled, looking at Vishnu, who was propped up on the couch, barking at Kinana, who smiled and picked the puppy up to pet him. The doctor didn't say anything as he healed over Kymin's chest.

Kinana petted the puppy, glancing over to the ninja being healed as she noticed something? "What's Batsu?" she asked, blinking when she saw Kymin freeze up. Right. If it was burned onto his chest, it probably wasn't something he wanted to remember...

(He was a violent child growing up, jk, we all know that's not true. I have no idea.)

Felix smirked. "That's good." He then turned his attention to Kinana as she informed him about going to the tower. He wasn't too keen about explaining this all over again. It was already weighing heavily on Kymin. Felix wondered if he could go ahead and explain with his black haired lover. Probably not, but he'd fight like hell to try. When Kinana picked up Vishnu, he didn't take much notice, but his blue eyes darted from Kymin to the younger girl when she asked what Batsu was. Why'd she have to go and do that? If it was burned onto his chest why in God's name would she go and ask that? Felix clenched his fist in anger. He wanted to tell her to get out, but she'd been very kind towards them when they first arrived. "Kinana, I don't mean to sound rude," a paused. "But can we not talk about yesterday." He'd almost told her to shut up, but he knew better. He looked to Kymin warily. "The hotel is really close to here," he said. "It looks nice from the outside." Felix was trying to change the subject to something a little less traumatizing.

Kinana blinked when Felix asked if they could not talk about it. "Sorry. Sure thing. I should get going anyways," she smiled, a hint of embarrassment crossing her face as she put Vishnu back on the ground and jumped off the bed. "I'll see you two around," she said, leaving the room with a wave. Oops.

Kymin didn't say anything when the black haired girl asked about the name carved into his chest, but his gaze dropped. He gave a light smile when Felix mentioned the hotel, glad for the chance in subject. "A-ah, you found one already," he smiled. "I feel like I've been slacking." When the doctor announced that he was done with healing over the skin on his chest, and moved to heal Kymin's neck, the black haired ninja froze momentarily before scrambling off the bed with a nervous grin. "A-ah, th-that one's fine, it can heal on it's own," he stuttered. "T-thanks for healing my arm and chest though," he said, moving to take the cast off his now healed arm.

Felix watched Kinana leave. He was glad he didn't have to ask verbally. He looked back to Kymin when the guy spoke. "It wasn't like I'd gone house hunting," he said with a grin. It quickly faded when Kymin scrambled off the bed. Had Felix not been in a similar situation he would have told Kymin to stop being ridiculous and get his neck healed. Instead, he walked over to him. "You sure," Felix asked. "It's going to hurt like hell with the possibility of infection if you don't get it healed now." Felix was being concerned, not pushy. Then an idea came to him. "If you don't want him to heal you, will you trust me enough to let him heal me in exchange," he asked.

Kymin swallowed lightly, his face slightly paler than it should have been, nodding lightly when Felix asked if he was sure. He wasn't sure if he could handle anyone touching his throat right now, even if it was to heal it. When the doctor had started reaching to heal him, he'd had a brief flashback of when Batsu had lunged at him and grabbed his neck. He was sure his breathing had gotten a little heavier. With the cast off, Kymin tossed it to the bed, looking to Felix as he asked if he trusted him enough. The black haired ninja was still shaken up from that little episode, but only took a moment to answer. "I-I..." This is Felix, not that thing...it's Felix... he told himself, taking a slightly shaky breath before nodding. He wasn't entirely sure what Felix meant, but he trusted him. Even knowing this was Felix, he'd have to hold himself steady to not pull back if the other male was going to reach for his neck. The doctor, having been a bit shocked by the black haired man suddenly jumping away, sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for the two to straighten this out and come to a conclusion.

Felix gave a soft smile when Kymin finally nodded. He went over to his bag and pulled a clear scroll out. Pricking his finger, he wrote on the scroll. "Gatekeeper's Exchange." He looked to Kymin. "I'm going to touch your neck, but it's only briefly. He waited until he was sure Kymin would move away before gently reaching forward and touching the burn mark. He kept his facial expression blank as he pulled his hand back. Carefully he undid hid headband, trying not to make an expressions as he did so. The burn mark was rubbing against the fabric of his shirt and it was very unpleasant. He then unzipped his shirt and pulled it off. He took a seat on the bed. "If you will," he said looking to the doctor.

Kymin swallowed lightly when Felix said he was going to touch his neck, but nodded. If he couldn't trust Felix, there was no one in this world he could trust. He did trust Felix, so he took another shaky breath when Felix reached his hand forward. He very nearly closed his eyes, but instead cringed lightly and stayed still. He blinked when he felt that the burn disappeared completely. And then he saw Felix taking off his headband. He...had the burn now...? Kymin blinked again. If this was permanent, he was gonna kick Felix's ass. He gave a small sigh though, and watched the doctor go over to Felix and start healing the silver haired ninja's neck without question as to what was going on. Kymin's first thought was This guy's pretty old...probably seen something like this before.

Felix was staying very still as the doctor worked on him. His blue eyes blank as he starred across the room at the wall. He was very conscious of what was going on around him. Felix had only offered to help Kymin because he didn't want the guy suffering. Had it been anyone else, Felix would have left them to be, only because his own scars were visible. Closing his eyes momentarily Felix gave a light smile. The things we do for love. He reopened his eyes and almost sneezed, but held it in. He kept from chuckling as well. "Vishnu needs to be feed," Felix said without looking in Kymin's direction. "I wasn't able to do so last night."
